Since the reform and opening up,with the continuous advancement of industrialization,modernization,and urbanization in China,the demand for labor has been rapidly increasing.A large number of rural labor have flocked to cities,and migrant workers choose to work to earn money and increase economic income.In this context,most migrant workers leave their children at home and receive education from their grandparents,resulting in the phenomenon of children being separated from their parents,making them unable to be taken care of by their parents.This has led to problems such as poor hygiene habits,weak awareness of hygiene habits,and lack of knowledge about hygiene habits among rural left behind children,which has hindered their healthy growth.This article takes L Village,K County,G Province as an example.By understanding the current situation of the hygiene habits of left behind children in the village,evaluating their needs,analyzing the problems and influencing factors of the hygiene habits of left behind children in the village,and guided by social work theory,designing a group work plan for the cultivation of hygiene habits among left behind children.The group work method is used to provide services to the selected 12 group members,guiding them to learn relevant knowledge about hygiene habits,Gradually enhance awareness of hygiene habits and develop good hygiene habits.Draw conclusions through service evaluation.Firstly,group work is carried out to promote the development of hygiene habits among left behind children.The group members have identity,and by establishing a group,they can interact and exchange knowledge on hygiene habits within the group to improve their own quality.Second,social workers use empathy,encouragement and other skills to make group work easier to receive services in the development of left behind children’s health habits and education.Thirdly,social learning theory and advantage perspective theory have a promoting effect on the development of hygiene habits among left behind children.Guided by theory,social workers carry out practical activities to cultivate hygiene habits,enhancing their awareness of hygiene habits,mastering knowledge of hygiene habits,and developing good hygiene habits.Therefore,group work intervention research on the development of hygiene habits among left behind children in rural areas is effective and can provide feasible references for research on such issues.
