Example method,also known as example argumentation,is a kind of argumentation method commonly used in argumentation writing.It refers to the argumentation method that proves the central point concretly and powerfully by using real and reliable typical examples.The actual writing process includes three parts: the selection and combination of cases,the development and narration of cases,and the analysis and discussion of combined viewpoints.The influence of education reform on curriculum standards and the trend of college entrance examination topic is constantly emerging,and the requirement for the teaching of argumentative essay writing in senior high school is also constantly raised.The use of example is the foundation of argumentative essay writing,but there are still many problems in the concrete teaching implementation and feedback,and it is always the focus of argumentative essay writing teaching that cannot be ignored.In order to achieve higher educational goals under the new educational background and solve the problems existing in the practical teaching of exemplification,it is still necessary for us to carry out research on relevant contents.This paper mainly uses case study method and literature research method to collect relevant theories and viewpoints of example teaching,and selects specific cases in practical teaching to combine theory with practice.The first chapter clarifies the requirements of example teaching in class standard,argumentative essay writing,students’ psychology and other aspects,as well as the role of argumentative essay writing as a whole,the study of Chinese subjects,and the cultivation of students’ ability in various aspects.The second chapter summarizes the current situation of example teaching,and summarizes the following reasons from the perspective of teacher teaching: the lack of systematic and targeted teaching arrangement,the lack of students’ consciousness of the accumulation of materials,the weak consciousness of thinking training has not been paid attention to.In the third chapter,according to the complete link of the use of examples and the specific problems in the above teaching,the author puts forward the targeted teaching strategies and ideas respectively.The principles of step by step,combination of reading and writing,and combination of learning and thinking are taken as the prerequisite for the implementation of the strategies.The author collects the example materials around the teaching materials and students’ learning life,and defines the standards for selecting authentic,typical and novel materials.The narrative examples are concise and vivid,and the awareness of thinking training is improved through debate,commentary,mind mapping and other ways,and the analysis and discussion of the examples are based on the viewpoints.Through the research on the teaching status quo,problems and strategies of the use of example method,this paper provides ideas and references for front-line teachers to solve practical problems in teaching,so as to improve students’ writing ability of example paragraphs and improve the overall level of argumentative writing.
