Argumentative writing teaching is both the important and difficult point in Chinese teaching of senior high schools.As an important part of Chinese teaching,argumentative writing teaching is one of the common ways to develop students' Chinese key competency,taking responsibility for cultivating students' comprehensive capabilities in expression,thinking and so on.Nevertheless,there are a lot of problems in argumentative writing teaching of senior high schools that we can divide into two types.From where teachers stand,it is a habitual scene of muddled teaching plans,unfulfillment in writing training and single evaluation method.And for students,the lack of writing impetus as well as material and logic in chaos can't be neglected either.Thus,we can easily make a conclusion that a serious disconnection exists between the current situation of argumentative writing teaching and the cultivation requirements of Chinese key competency.Based on the cultivation requirements of Chinese key competency,this paper makes a survey of the current senior high school argumentative writing teaching and actively explores effective teaching strategies for the problems in the teaching process to achieve the goal of improving students' argumentative writing level as well as developing students' Chinese key competency.So this paper will be divided into the following five parts:The first part briefly discusses the research from five aspects: research origin,literature review,topic significance,concept definition and research methods,of which constitute the foundation of this paper.The second part details the theoretical basis of argumentative writing teaching research,analyzes the content related to argumentative writing teaching in the current teaching materials,and also focuses on the new features of argumentative writing teaching in Senior High School under the background of Chinese key competency.The third part mainly relies on the form of questionnaire to investigate the current situation of the teaching and learning of argumentative writing in senior high school.Making statistics and arrangement of the data obtained from the survey,this paper analyzes the problems in the teaching and learning of argumentative writing in senior high school and the reasons behind them.The fourth part is the core of this paper.Combined with the stage characteristics of students' physical and mental development and the cultivation requirements of Chinese key competency,it mainly aims at the problems in the teaching of argumentative writing in senior high school,putting forward four teaching strategies,which are consolidating the theoretical basis of argumentative writing,launching effective thinking training,polishing the skills of writing argumentation and improving the writing evaluation system.The fifth part studies the teaching design,which combines the previous discussion of the teaching strategy with the author's teaching practice experience,and is aimed at offering the strategy a stronger guidance.
