The Department compiled Chinese textbooks for secondary schools and selected texts that expressed the image of intellectuals.Intellectuals not only occupy a central position in the fields of politics,economy,culture,education,medical care,science and technology,but also an important type of figure that cannot be ignored in secondary school Chinese textbooks.It plays an important role in studying the image selection of intellectuals in secondary school language teaching materials and teaching opposing morality and cultivating people,forming students’ correct outlook on life,values and world view,cultivating students’ core language literacy,and promoting students’ all-round and high-quality development;At the same time,it is conducive to students to master the methods of appreciating and analyzing the image of intellectuals,and improve their reading appreciation and writing ability.The full text is divided into four chapters.The first chapter defines the concept of intellectuals,counts and analyzes the selected texts on the image of intellectuals in the Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Middle School,and clarifies the characteristics of the image of intellectuals.Intellectuals are educated intellectual workers with certain cultural and scientific knowledge.Intellectuals are rich and diverse in image,including those who have responsibilities,care for the interests of the country,society and the people,and have independent personality,critical consciousness and spirit of resistance;It also includes the defenders of old ideas,old morals,and old institutions.The images of intellectuals in secondary school Chinese textbooks include loyal patriots,feudal defenders,people who set up their lives for the people,preachers and teachers,seekers of ideals and creators of theories etc,They are self-respecting,brave and persevering;Pursue self and be willing to contribute;Knowledgeable and virtuous;Self-cultivation and introspection,independent personality;Firm conviction and search for truth and other characteristics.Sorting out the image of intellectuals and clarifying the complexity and diversity of intellectuals is conducive to cultivating the dialectical thinking of middle school students,developing healthy personality characteristics,and forming correct attitudes and values in life.The second chapter analyzes analyze the moral education,intellectual education and aesthetic education significance of image text teaching of intellectuals.Study intellectual texts to cultivate independent personality and noble pursuits;Establish a strong sense of responsibility and a broad mind;Cultivate students’ ability to distinguish between truth,goodness and beauty,and falsehood,evil and ugliness;Practice the concept of seeking truth and pursue objective truth;Develop thinking skills and improve expression skills;Cultivate the humanistic spirit and cultivate the mind of beauty;Appreciate literary works and improve aesthetic ability.The third chapter investigation department compiled this middle school Chinese textbook the present situation of intellectual image text selection teaching.The survey show that in the teaching of intellectual image in middle school Chinese textbooks,there are problems such as not paying attention to the image value of intellectuals,simplifying character image analysis,relatively monotonous teaching methods,students’ lack of interest in learning,and students’ weak ability to interpret texts.The fourth chapter teaching strategies for selecting intellectuals in secondary school Chinese textbooks.The image teaching of Chinese intellectuals in middle schools should improve the quality of teachers,clarify the teaching value of intellectuals’ text selection,and enrich the teaching path of intellectuals’ image texts in multi-dimensional synergy,and should flexibly use a variety of methods to improve the effectiveness of intellectuals’ text selection teaching.
