A Comparative Study On Instrument Difficulty (DA) Of Individual Rhythmic Gymnasts At Home And Abroad

"Rhythmic gymnastics" is a unique charming sport,which is a physical exercise performed with bare hands or hand held light instruments to the accompaniment of music.The individual artistic gymnastics event is a competition event in the official artistic gymnastics championships and is now available to natural persons of all genders.The new cycle rules put forward higher requirements for the overall difficulty of individual events.In order to improve the competitive level of individual artistic gymnastics in our country,it is necessary to analyze the problems in the composition of equipment difficulty,the score of equipment difficulty action,the expression of equipment difficulty and the completion of the outstanding athletes,and put forward the corresponding countermeasures.According to the actual situation,reasonable suggestions are put forward to help improve the level of individual artistic gymnastics in our country.This paper will analyze the international scoring rules from 2022 to2024,and through comparative study,explore the characteristics of the equipment difficulty movements of Chinese and foreign excellent rhythmic gymnasts.This paper uses the methods of literature,video observation,expert interview and mathematical statistics to study the difficult movements of the outstanding rhythmic gymnastics athletes at home and abroad.Research conclusion:1.In the new cycle rules in 2022,on the basis of the original number without an upper limit,at least one and up to 20 instrument difficulties in each set of movements are required to be evaluated according to the order of completion(no matter how DA is completed).DA exceeding the required number will not be evaluated(no points will be deducted),and the second group of instrument difficulty Judging group(DA)will be set up separately.It shows that the difficulty of instruments in this cycle plays an important role in the scoring system.2.4 instruments Each instrument non-basic instrument technical group is almost not arranged into the complete set of movements.Compared with the basic equipment technical group,the score of the non-basic equipment technical group is lower and the completion difficulty is higher,so the advantages in the selection of movement types are insufficient,resulting in the differential development of equipment technology,but also reduce the diversity and artistry of individual sets of arrangements.In addition,the types of equipment difficulty standards in China are also very limited,reducing the artistry and diversity of individual sets,and also leading to the quality and effect of the difficulty of these devices can not meet expectations.3.From the point of view of the selection of equipment difficulty score,according to the rules of domestic and foreign players will meet the specific number of requirements,due to the different characteristics of the equipment and the athlete’s personal technical style,for the obtained equipment difficulty score of our players will have obvious shortcomings.Although the competitive level of 0.2 points is relatively prominent,foreign excellent athletes choose more athletes with 0.3 and 0.4 points,which makes our skill level more mediocre,resulting in the overall score of China’s equipment difficulty is low,which is also one of the main reasons for the score gap with the world’s top level athletes.4.China’s excellent artistic gymnasts in the use of a variety of different equipment difficulty,usually with rotation,body difficulty and dance combination skillfully combined to reflect the different forms of performance,but compared with foreign excellent athletes overall use of insufficient number,including China’s instrument difficulty in the combination of rotation and physical difficulty movements,And there is a certain gap in the characteristics of dance steps and instruments compared with foreign athletes.5.Chinese athletes in the process of complete sets of equipment have repeatedly fallen,equipment out of bounds and other situations.In the arrangement of sets,the difficulty score is often emphasized,and the correctness of the instrument operation is ignored.This will not only lead to the deduction of points for technical errors and artistic errors,but also affect the overall value and artistic effect.That is,Chinese athletes lack the guarantee of the quality of the completion of the equipment difficulty when completing the equipment difficulty,and can not choose the "genuine" equipment difficulty.
