Study objective:This study investigates the effect of flywheel centrifugal training on the lower limb strength training of judo athletes,while comparing the traditional barbell squat training to find the differences in the effects of the two training means on the maximum strength,explosive power,strength endurance and special ability of the lower limb;by analyzing the results of the study,the advantages of the two training means are objectively evaluated,which in turn provides a reference for the training to improve the competitive ability of judo athletes.Research method:This study used the literature method,expert interview method,experimental method,and mathematical and statistical method.By selecting 16 members of Shaanxi men’s judo team as experimental subjects to participate in this study,subjects were randomly controlled into experimental(n=8)and control group(n=8),and the experimental and control groups were trained simultaneously for 8 weeks,twice a week.The subjects in the experimental group performed flywheel centrifugal training using counterweight pieces with inertia of0.025kg·m~2and 0.050kg·m~2,and the subjects in the control group performed barbell squat training using a load of 70%-85%1RM.Before and after the 8-week training,the subjects in both the experimental and control groups were tested to lower extremity maximal strength:1RM squat,isometric test 60°/s flexion-extrension hip,flexion-extrension knee peak force date,Lower limb explosive strength:SJ duration of flight,SJ Height of flight,CMJ duration of flight,CMJ Height of flight;lower limb endurance:isometric test 180°/s flexion-extrension hip,flexion-extrension knee endurance index,special ability:30s punch-in,30s back throw index test.Finally,the test results were analyzed and discussed.Results:(1)In the lower extremity maximal strength index,the experimental group showed a significant increase in squat 1RM value,isometric 60°/s hip flexion-extension and knee flexion-extension peak moments;the control group showed a significant increase in squat 1RM value,isometric 60°/s knee extension peak moment,and isometric 60°/s hip flexion peak moment.There were significant differences in isometric 60°/s knee flexion peak moment,isometric 60°/s knee extension peak moment,and isometric 60°/s hip extension peak moment between the experimental and control groups.(2)In the lower limb explosive strength indexes,the experimental group showed significant improvement in SJ duration of flight,SJ Height of flight,CMJ duration of flight and CMJ Height of flight,while the control group showed significant improvement in CMJ duration of flight only.Significant differences were found between the experimental group and the control group in the SJ duration of flight,SJ Height of flight,CMJ duration of flight and CMJ Height of flight.(3)In the lower limb strength endurance index,the isometric180°/s knee extension and hip flexion-extension endurance indexes of the experimental group were significantly improved,while only the isometric 180°/s hip extension endurance index of the control group was extremely significantly improved.The isometric 180°/s knee flexion-extension and hip extension endurance indices were significantly different between the experimental group and the control group.(4)In the special ability indexes,the experimental group had significant improvement in the special 30s hitting and special 30s back throwing,while the control group only had significant improvement in the special 30s hitting.The special 30s back throw between the experimental group and the control group had extremely significant differences.Conclusion:Flywheel centrifugal training is better than traditional barbell squat training in terms of maximum lower limb strength,explosive power,and strength endurance,while flywheel centrifugal training is better than traditional barbell squat training in terms of improving the performance of judo-specific sports.
