Electromyography Characteristics And Training Effect Of Flywheel Training On Lower-limb Eccentric Strength

Purpose By comparing the difference in training effect and electromyography between traditional barbell squat and flywheel squat,a more targeted training method is selected to provide a strength training method that can better develop sports ability for sports teams.Methods Through the methods of literature,experiment and mathematical statistics,this study compared the differences in the training effects of the traditional barbell squat training and the squatting training with flywheel trainer on the athletes' lower limb muscle circumference,lower limb stability,muscle strength,lower limb explosive force and sprint running time.And through the electromyography test,we look for the different activation level of the main muscle groups of the squat movement in these two groups.Result(1)The mid-thigh circumference of the subjects in the flywheel training group significantly increased after training(p<0.05),while the muscle circumference of the other parts did not increase significantly.In the barbell training group,there was no significant increase in muscle circumference.The increase in the left mid-thigh circumference of the subjects in the flywheel group was significantly greater than that in the barbell group(p<0.05).(2)After training,the flywheel training group had significantly increased contact distance in the left posterolateral,left posterolateral and right posterolateral directions(p<0.05).In the barbell training group,the contact distance in the left posterolateral direction was significantly increased after training(p<0.05).The comprehensive value of left lower limb in flywheel training group was significantly increased after training(p<0.05).The comprehensive value of both lower limbs in the barbell training group was not significantly increased(p>0.05).(3)Before and after the training,the differences between the two training groups in the squat jump and countermovement jump tests were not statistically significant(p>0.05).In the flywheel training group,the countermovement jump height was significantly increased after training(p<0.05).In the barbell training group,the squat jump height was significantly increased after the training(p<0.05).(4)After 4 weeks of training,the 10-meter and 30-meter sprint results of the flywheel training group were significantly better than those of the barbell training group(p<0.05).The 10-meter sprint performance of flywheel training group was significantly improved(p<0.05).Barbell training group 30 meters sprint results were significantly improved(p<0.05).(5)In the flywheel training group,the concentric and eccentric relative peak torques of the flexion and extension muscles of the knee joint were significantly increased after the training in the isokinetic muscle strength test(p<0.05).In the barbell training group,there was no significant increase in the concentric relative peak torque of the extension muscles of the knee joint before and after the training(p>0.05),while the other parts increased significantly(p<0.05).After the training,the increase of isokinetic muscle strength in the flywheel training group was greater than that in the barbell training group,but only the increase of the concentric relative peak torque of knee flexor in the flywheel training group was significantly greater than that in the barbell training group(p<0.05).(6)Before and after the training,the maximum squat strength of the two groups was significantly improved(p<0.05),and the difference between the two groups was not statistically significant(p>0.05).(7)At the eccentric stage,the RMS values of the middle rectus femoris and biceps femoris in the flywheel squat were significantly higher than those in the barbell squat(p<0.05),and the RMS values of the erectus were significantly lower than those in the barbell squat(p<0.05).In the concentric phase,the RMS values of the barbell squat muscles of gastrocnemius,lateral femoris and erectus were higher than those of the flywheel squat(p<0.05).There was no significant difference in the activation of the remaining muscles between the two training methods(p>0.05).Conclusions(1)Flywheel squat training has more obvious stimulation to rectus femoris and biceps femoris in eccentric phase,while barbell squat training has more obvious stimulation to gastrocnemius and lateral femoral muscles in concentric phase.In both concentric and eccentric phases,flywheel squat training has less stimulation to erectus than barbell squat training.(2)Compared with the barbell training group,the flywheel training group can significantly increase the circumference of the middle thigh,Y-balance test,the concentric relative peak torque of knee extensor and flexor and sprint performance.There was no difference in the development of maximum squat strength between the flywheel training and the barbell training.(3)The flywheel training showed better improvement effect in the squat jump test,while the barbell training showed better improvement effect in the squat jump test.
