Investigation And Analysis Of The Current Situation Of Surfing Competition Organization In China

Research Objectives: Surfing as an emerging Olympic project,in China late start,low starting point,related competition organization theory and practice research gap,the 14 th National Games surfing competition as the first domestic highest level surfing event,the successful completion to a certain extent reflects the development status of China’s surfing competition organization,with a certain degree of importance,particularity,demonstration and representativeness.In order to enrich the theoretical research on the organization of surfing competitions in China and promote the establishment of the theoretical system of surfing competitions in China,this paper summarizes the successful experience of surfing competitions of the 14 th National Games and provides a template for the organization of surfing competitions in the future,so as to guide specific practical work,build a high-quality platform for the development of competitive surfing in China,and improve the level of competitive surfing in China.Research methods: using the literature method,field investigation,expert interview method and mathematical statistics method,the competition organization work in the preparation,competition stage and end stage of the surfing competition of the 14 th National Games of China was investigated and analyzed,and the preparation of surfing competition was explained through three aspects: declaration of surfing competition,preparation of venue and equipment,organization and personnel arrangement,and the responsibilities of competition staff of various institutions during the competition period were expounded through the responsibilities of organizational institutions and personnel,and the competition process was described.Through the post-competition workflow and post-competition work links,the end of the competition is described to summarize the successful experience of surfing in China and promote the construction of the surfing competition organization system.Research results:1.The successful holding of the surfing competition of the 14 th National Games provides a corresponding competition template for China’s future surfing competitions,and in the preparation period,the declaration of surfing competitions should focus on the environmental conditions on the beach land and on the water,so as to eliminate the risk of competition;Secondly,in the construction of the competition venue,the construction of the referee tower must be the core to ensure the stability of the beach building and the harsh coastal climate;In the preparation of equipment,it is necessary to protect important equipment,increase heat reduction facilities and weatherproof measures;Finally,complete organizational structure and personnel arrangements provide institutional guarantee for the competition.2.During the competition period,the sensitive competition method is an effective means to cope with poor wave conditions,and priority is given to ensuring that surfing sports with higher strength compete to ensure the high level and excitement of the competition.Secondly,the comprehensive competition services and guarantee work help the normal operation of the competition,such as power grid,audio and other equipment is always related to the operation of the competition,and the quality of catering,the reserve of heat reduction equipment and medical supplies is always related to the working status of the referee.The professional referee team provided a lot of opinions for the operation of the competition,ensuring the quality of the competition,and is the core of the operation of the surfing competition.3.At the end of the period,the standardized post-competition workflow includes five tasks: results announcement,referee summary,award ceremony,safety inspection,and venue cleanup,which ensures the accuracy of the announcement of the competition results,summarizes the experience of organizing the competition,ensures the personal safety of the competition staff,and forms a good style of running the competition.The post-competition work includes four aspects: material return,competition work summary,report book distribution,and post-competition personnel management,which is conducive to creating a friendly team atmosphere and laying a solid team foundation for future competition work.Conclusions:1.The 14th National Games surfing competition has built a competition organization work mode of three stages of preparation,competition and ending,the preparation stage is carried out around four stages of competition declaration,venue construction,equipment preparation and organizational structure and personnel arrangement,the competition method of the competition stage,competition service and guarantee,and the referee team are the key to the operation of the competition,and the post-competition workflow and links promote the successful conclusion of the competition.2.The problem of surfing competition is mainly manifested in the lack of wave resources in China,which seriously affects the operation of surfing competition.Secondly,the competition work such as beach competition architecture,competition equipment protection,surf lifesaving system,referee work system,competition service and post-race environmental protection needs to be constructed,standardized and improved.3.Optimization of surfing competition problems includes: research and development of artificial wave pools,construction of beach competition building standards,addition of measures against heat and weather,standardization of surfing competition life-saving work,consolidation of refereeing work,improvement of post-competition site cleanup,and establishment of competition service evaluation system.
