Ideological and Political Theories Teaching in All Courses(IPTTAC)is a crucial strategy for promoting ideological and political education in Chinese colleges and universities.Public physical education basketball course,as an important course in the curriculum system of colleges and universities,is rich in ideological and political elements.Integrating the conception of IPTTAC into the public physical education basketball course in colleges and universities is not only an integral part of building a "big ideology and politics" landscape but also a specific requirement for achieving the fundamental goal of "cultivating morality and cultivating people".This study uses various methods,such as literature review,questionnaire survey,interview,and content analysis,to analyze the teaching practice of the public physical education basketball course in colleges and universities.The findings are as follows:(1)The public physical education basketball course has its own advantages in the implementation of IPTTAC,which is conducive to the construction of IPTTAC and a "big ideology and politics" landscape.Students do not fully understand the conception of IPTTAC,and there is a lack of attention to students’ ideals and beliefs in terms of their own gains.In general,nearly one-third of the students do not think highly of IPTTAC teaching in the public physical education basketball course.(2)Based on the main link of teaching practice,this paper puts forward the optimization path from six aspects:(1)The teaching objectives should be clear ideological and political objectives,highlighting the concept of education.(2)The teaching content should dig deep ideological and political elements,skillfully combined with basketball teaching content.(3)The teaching process should be deeply integrated and integrated in the whole process.(4)Teaching methods should be chosen appropriately,highlighting the people-oriented concept.(5)The evaluation method should be diversified and pay attention to students’ personal growth.(6)Teachers should give full play to their subjective initiative and build basketball ideological and political classroom.(3)Based on the core socialist values as the theoretical basis of the public physical education basketball course and subjective feedback from students,a detailed and comprehensive indicator system of ideological and political elements in the public physical education basketball course was established,including 4 first-level indicators(i.e.,ideals and beliefs,ideology and morality,professional quality,and individual development)and 19second-level indicators.(4)The case analysis of the one-handed over-the-shoulder shot proves that IPTTAC can be integrated into all aspects of the public physical education basketball course,which can significantly improve the ideological and political teaching in the public physical education basketball course.(5)After teaching practice,the comparison analysis between before and after the test found that the average values of the four indicators(i.e.,ideals and beliefs,ideology and morality,professional quality,and individual development)were calculated.The P values of all the results were less than 0.05,indicating that the effect of IPTTAC was significant.
