| In the informatization trend of Internet + big data, the demand for location-based services has given birth to the spatial information technology industry, which also enables many fields such as agriculture, forestry, transportation and entertainment, providing more and more employment opportunities.According to Geography Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2020 Revision),spatial information technology is conducive to shaping and improving the core literacy of geography, and teachers should rely on spatial information technology in teaching. However,in reality, middle school geography teaching mainly requires students to understand 3S principle, application direction and application scenario, and there is little application teaching of spatial information technology, which is not conducive to students’ in-depth cognition of spatial information technology,so as to serve the choice of future career direction. This paper studies the development and implementation of the school-based curriculum of “Spatial Information Technology and Life” in high school, which is conducive to the implementation of the new curriculum standard of geography and the cultivation of future talents in the information age.The paper is divided into six parts:Chapter One introduction. On the basis of explaining the topic selection background and research significance, the author studied the literature to understand the current research status and exploration direction of the application of spatial information technology in high school geography teaching in China, and determined the research plan for the follow-up curriculum development. The second chapter is the investigation of spatial information technology teaching status.Three classes of Wuhou Middle School and high school geography teachers were surveyed and interviewed. The results show that students have strong interest in spatial information technology and are willing to use spatial information technology to learn geography courses.Teachers say there are still many obstacles in the practice process. The school-based curriculum has the advantages of flexible content, full consideration of students’ cognitive background and needs, and high participation enthusiasm of teachers and students.Chapter three: The concept and structure of the school-based curriculum of Spatial Information Technology and Life.Under the mainstream education and teaching theory, curriculum development is carried out in accordance with the principles of interesting and easy to understand, development needs, comprehensive application and implementation of new curriculum standards. The course content is constructed based on the phenomena that students are familiar with and strongly perceive, such as outbound sales, tourism and disaster prevention, and reflects the design idea of “basic theory of spatial information technology--practical application of spatial information technology--development direction of spatial information technology”.Chapter four is the content development of the school-based curriculum “Spatial Information Technology and Life”.Textbooks are compiled with reference to middle school geography textbooks and organized according to image system, text system and activity system. In terms of specific content, starting from mobile phone software to professional 3S software and tools, step by step.In terms of teaching activities, through problem-driven and comprehensive case, students can perceive, experience and operate in specific application scenarios to deepen their cognition and understanding of geographical issues.Chapter five is the implementation of the school-based curriculum “ Spatial Information Technology and Life”.Choose “Meet 3S Technology” and “Emergency Rescue” to write teaching design, and carry out teaching practice.Practice has proved that students are more interested in teaching content and teaching methods, and can achieve better learning objectives.Chapter six conclusion and prospect.Through the research,it is concluded that the application of spatial information technology in middle school geography teaching still has strong demand of students and unbalanced ability of teachers. To solve this problem,a simple, easy to understand, universal and operable school-based course of spatial information technology is developed and designed.Through teaching practice,it is found that this course can not only stimulate students’ interest in learning, but also cultivate their spatial information technology application ability, which has a good learning effect. However, there are also shortcomings, mainly the design of course content needs to be optimized, the theoretical guidance and knowledge reserve is insufficient, and the teaching practice of school-based curriculum is not enough, the above problems need to be optimized and improved. |
