| With the continuous development of society, the demand for talents has become higher and higher. The new curriculum standard further defines the national requirements to the core literacy of each discipline. However, there is a big gap between this and the current actual teaching. The problem of implementing the core literacy and cultivating new talents falls on the head of every front-line teacher and education and teaching researchers. How to cultivate core literacy in junior high school? On the basis of this problem, there are a series of questions: how to cultivate the ability of geographical practice? How to design geography practice teaching? How to innovate the traditional experimental course of geography? How to apply information technology to geography experiment practice course? These are the problems that geography teachers and geography educators think and study. In the actual process of education and teaching, there are few corresponding geographical experiments. In addition to the curriculum reform and the replacement of teaching materials in recent years, geography front-line teachers are also in the stage of exploring new teaching materials and new courses, and have not applied the experimental teaching method to practical teaching.explore the strategies of Geography Experiment Teaching in senior high school to cultivate students’ Geography practical ability, and design a geography experiment course that is easy to implement in line with the content of the new curriculum and new teaching materials.Geography experiment teaching is a teaching method closely combined with the teaching content.Interesting experiments are used to stimulate students’ practical ability and obtain key knowledge content in the process of exploration.Geographic information technology assisted subject teaching is the latest research trend of geography, which is conducive to interactive experiments and the field of most interest to students. Therefore, exploring the bridge between geographic information technology and geographic experiment and integrating geographic information technology into geography classroom teaching has high research value. After investigating the current situation of Geography Experimental Teaching in Senior High School of Urumqi 20 middle school through questionnaire survey, according to the existing problems and the needs of students, this paper integrates geographic information technology and geography experimental teaching content, and designs a practical teaching case with the title of "observing hometown landform" and a comprehensive experimental case of "vegetation growth monitoring in Xinjiang".This paper gives reference to the application of geographic information technology in geography experiment teaching in senior high school and improving the teaching quality of geography experiment teaching.Through the above research, the conclusions are summarized into the following points:(1)the current implementation of Geography Experiment Teaching in senior high school is not extensive, the actual geography experiment teaching methods carried out by teachers are inconsistent with the interests and needs of students, and there are some problems, such as the lack of Geography laboratory and experimental equipment;(2)Students have a high willingness to use geographic information technology for geography learning. Many teachers have both ability and high willingness to design geography experimental teaching combined with geographic information technology. However, there is a lack of systematic training and imperfect software and hardware equipment.(3)By analyzing the curriculum standards and experimental contents of textbooks, the most popular emerging technologies are applied to the research of practical teaching and implemented into specific courses. It also guides front-line teachers to actively apply innovative means such as geographic information technology in the actual classroom and boldly try to design practical experimental courses.Overcome some defects in the traditional classroom,so as to effectively promote the teaching effect of geography teaching. |
