General Secretary Xi Jinping’s suggestion of "casting a firm sense of Chinese national community" has been crucial in fostering ethnic progress and unity as well as bettering ties between various ethnic groups.It also offers a fresh viewpoint for contemporary ethnic work.Chinese national identity and traditional ethnic sports are closely intertwined;the former offers significant support for the latter while the latter directs traditional ethnic sports’ growth in the appropriate directions.The high-quality development of ethnic traditional sports has grown in importance as the Chinese nation continues to expand,both as a crucial component of contemporary society and,more significantly,as a crucial emblem of the nation-building process.Integrating ethnic traditional sports into physical education classes in schools where ethnic minorities are present is an important and practical strategy to encourage the high-quality growth of ethnic traditional sports.As the only ethnic community in East China and the so-called "She Township of China," Jingning,in the province of Zhejiang,has a wealth of resources for ethnic traditional sports.The practice of implementing She traditional sports programs in primary and secondary schools in Jingning She Autonomous County serves as the research object for this study,which examines the integration and growth of She traditional sports and school sports using the poetry method,descriptive survey,method of analysis,and rational assertion method.The results of the study showed that:(1)She has extensive and distinctive resources for her traditional sports endeavor.Persimmon picking,wild boar,"ask the bench," "playing the size," "manipulate the stone plinth," "She martial arts," "shaking pot," "dragon catching phoenix," and other traditional She sports are more well-known in Jingning County right now.The government departments of sports and education,Minzu Bureau,and other departments strongly support the excavation and inheritance of traditional She sports project resources,and this feature to create sport.(2)There is little hope for the growth of She traditional sports in primary and high schools in Jingning County.Ethnic middle schools primarily participate in traditional She sports;ethnic elementary schools incorporate She elements into their daily teaching activities,and She culture can be seen in all of the audio,physical,and aesthetic;and the rest of the primary and secondary schools,with the exception of "Dragon Catch Phoenix" and "Shake the Pot," have few projects.Leaders are more supportive of its development,but fail to thoroughly investigate the issues;teachers carry out projects that are influenced by the syllabus and school tasks;ethnic schools have a deeper understanding of traditional projects,and primary school students prefer ethnic sports projects over secondary school students.(3)Although ethnic secondary schools do a decent job of carrying out the She people’s traditional sports curriculum,there are still certain issues.Actively uncover the She ethnic group’s traditional sports program,enhance the construction of the project-based curriculum,protect ancestry in the triple mode of the school,society,and project,and establish ethnic sports bases,training teams,built heritage museums,and non-heritage demonstration bases.However,under the influence of the teaching syllabus,these efforts have progressively weakened in recent years.(4)Several factors restrict the ability to include She traditional sports into the growth of elementary and secondary school sports.Absence of top-notch athletes for She traditional sports programs;relatively small and isolated She traditional sports programs;increased demands on teachers and pressure to pursue further education;absence of long-term devotion;and absence of assurance and oversight systems in ethnic schools.(5)Integrate standout examples,include the research context and prior research,and offer development preventative actions.Develop high-caliber She traditional sports project talent actively;improve the She traditional sports project’s teaching connections in Jingning ethnic primary and secondary schools;Jingning ethnic primary and secondary schools do a good job of extending the ethnic traditional sports project;government departments do a good job of ensuring and supervising the mechanism;raise awareness and address the issue of mass perception;deepen the excavation of She tra. |
