Aba is characterised by a low level of economic development,the coexistence of many ethnic groups,many religions and many cultures,which determines the special position of the work of creating national unity and progress in Aba in the overall situation.As the future builders and successors of ethnic regions,Aba ethnic minority students are a living force for the economic development and social stability of Aba’s ethnic minority regions and the country as a whole.It is the earnest expectation and requirement of the Party and the State to cultivate the awareness of the Chinese nationality among university students in Aba Prefecture;at the same time,strengthening the education on the awareness of the Chinese nationality among university students in Aba Prefecture will significantly enhance the cohesion of the Chinese nationality and enable them to have a strong sense of patriotism,and at the same time is a way to comprehensively enhance their national unity.It is also an inevitable requirement for the unity of the nation and the unification of the country;for the objective requirements of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation in the new era to be fully met;for the cultivation of qualified builders and reliable successors for the socialist cause to have an important guarantee;and for the promotion of the economic and social development of minority areas.According to the questionnaire survey and interviews conducted with minority students of Aba Prefecture,they include minority students of Aba Prefecture who are enrolled in schools in the Prefecture and those who are enrolled in universities outside the Prefecture.The questionnaire was used to identify the problems and shortcomings in the process of forging a sense of community among ethnic minorities in Aba.The study is based on the concept of "Grand Unification",the Marxist concept of ethnicity and the Communist Party of China’s ethnic policies and theories,and is able to develop an in-depth understanding of the connotation of Chinese ethnic community consciousness.The system of "constructing discursive cognition-solid ideological identity-forming behavioural intention" provides a basic theoretical framework for the conduct of the questionnaire survey.Based on the questionnaire and interviews,the positive factors and constraints in casting a firm sense of Chinese ethnic community among Aba minority university students are reasonably analysed,and the achievements of minority university students in casting a firm sense of Chinese ethnic community are summarised at the level of social propaganda,school level,family level and individual level,and the outstanding problems and internal causes faced are analysed.By synthesizing the problems faced by Aba minority students in cultivating a sense of Chinese community and the causes of these problems,and by extending the analysis to the whole country,we explore the ways to cultivate minority students in Aba.It also offers solutions to the problems that have arisen,namely,expanding the channels of propaganda in the community,grasping and dealing with online public opinion related to ethnic issues and its major risks,resisting religious infiltration from abroad and preventing the encroachment of religious extremist ideology,preventing the negative impact of various social trends on our country and narrowing the economic and cultural gap in our country,enhancing the duties and missions of university educators to establish moral education,enriching and improving the curriculum content of university The content of the curriculum of Chinese national community education,improving the campus cultural environment,and strengthening the consciousness of cultivating Chinese national community consciousness among Aba minority students.Through the study of the cultivation of Chinese ethnic community consciousness among minority students in Aba Prefecture,the study will contribute to the cultivation of Chinese ethnic community consciousness among minority students nationwide. |
