| The High School Ideology and Politics Curriculum Standards(2017 edition,revised in 2020)has clearly indicated that the high school ideology and politics curriculum and current political education complement each other and the mission of establishing foster character and civic virtue undertaken by ideological and political education.The textbook plays a key role in the ideological and political curriculum as well as the educating masterstroke of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era throughout the content.At the same time,political exam questions across the country have become increasingly integrated with current affairs and politics in recent years and the intensity of political exam questions related to current international and domestic major current affairs has become stronger and stronger,with a variety of angles and ways of setting the questions.Current affairs education plays an irreplaceable and connective role,not only is it a timely and effective way to disseminate the party’s and national courses,policies and guidelines,which allows students to develop the habit of concerning current international and domestic major current affairs,but also availing them of cultivating subject core literacy,so that the purpose of establishing foster character and civic virtue can be achieved as well as reshaping and rerouting the execution of quality-oriented education and high school ideology and politics class teaching.Based on previous research results and educational practice,this paper will take the new curriculum standards as a guide and study the new teaching materials in depth to integrate current affairs education into the teaching of high school ideology and politics effectively facing the new college entrance examination.By adopting research methods such as literature analysis,questionnaires,in-depth interviews and classroom observations,this paper focuses on analyzing the problems of integrating current affairs education into the teaching of high school ideological and political science classes and finding the relevant reasons,conscientiously studying the characteristics of the new textbook and the political science test papers within the new college entrance examination area and then proposing more operable countermeasures to practically improve the effect of current affairs education.This paper is divided into five chapters.Chapter 1:Introduction,which introduces the background and significance of this paper,analyzes the current situation of domestic and international research on the integration of current affairs education into the teaching of high school ideology and politics,and clarifies the research objectives and contents,research methods and innovations.Chapter 2:Overview of relevant theories,mainly to further clarify the concept and characteristics of current affairs education,the concept of current affairs education content,the concept of current affairs education in high school ideology and politics class and the relationship among the elements;analyze the theoretical basis of strengthening current affairs education in high school ideology and politics class and the necessity of integrating current affairs education into the teaching of high school ideology and politics class.Chapter 3:Analysis of current affairs content,principles and college entrance examination papers in high school ideology and politics courses,which further narrows down the scope and refines the analysis of closely related contents in high school ideology and politics courses,aiming to find the right direction for teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.Chapter 4:Analysis of existing problems and causes,forecasting based on current trends,providing the basis for more feasible and targeted measures in the next chapter.Chapter 5:Optimization Strategies,in view of the existing problems,combined with existing theories,research,teaching methods used by teachers when teaching relevant current affairs content in textbooks and current affairs content tested in the new college entrance examination political papers,to explore the strategies of integrating current affairs education into the teaching of high school ideology and politics class. |
