Ideological and political education is the heirloom of the Communist Party of China and the political advantage of the Party.Since the beginning of the new era,the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core has attached great importance to the training of a large number of successors to the socialist cause with firm political belief,strong political quality and high political wisdom.The party’s 20 th report pointed out: " With the socialist core values cast soul to educate people,improve the ideological and political work system,and promote the integration of ideological and political education in universities,primary and secondary schools." Whether ideological and political education can bear the important task of "cultivating people by virtue " depends on the effectiveness of ideological and small ideological and political education.The actual effect of ideological and political education is subject to various factors,among which,whether the connection between ideological and political education is scientific and reasonable is the key factor affecting the effectiveness of ideological and political education.The connection between ideological and political courses in junior middle school and senior high school is the key link in the integration of ideological and political courses in primary and medium schools.On the basis of the investigation on the current situation of the connection of ideological and political courses in middle and high schools,this paper accurately analyzes the problems existing in the connection of ideological and political courses in middle and high schools,and deeply explores the causes of the problems,summarizes experience,draw lessons and identify the key points,so as to put forward feasible solutions to promote the effective connection of ideological and political courses in middle and high schools.The first part defines the concepts of ideological and political courses in middle and high schools.On the basis of understanding its meaning,explore its significance: doing a good job in the connection of ideological and political courses is an inevitable requirement to achieve the goal of moral education,an important way to improve the teaching effect of ideological and political courses,and a key link in the reform and innovation of ideological and political courses.The second part is to analyze the theoretical basis of ideological and political course teaching connection in middle and high schools.The teaching connection of ideological and political courses in middle and high schools has a profound theoretical source,among which the dialectical materialism epistemology,General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important discussion on the integration of ideological and political courses,and the theory of recent development areas as the main theoretical sources.The third part is the analysis of the current situation of ideological and political course teaching in middle and high schools.The first is to analyze and sort out the questionnaire of ideological and political teaching cohesion in middle and high schools.Secondly,the paper sorts out the problems existing in the teaching connection of ideological and political courses in middle and high schools,including the lack of curriculum objectives,the duplication and fault of teaching materials,the differences in teaching methods of ideological and political courses in middle and high schools,and the lack of communication between teachers across learning sections.Finally,the causes of the problems are analyzed,which have both the reasons of teachers and students,and the deficiencies of the ideological and political education system and mechanism.The fourth part is a strategy to promote the effective connection of ideological and political courses in middle and high schools.In terms of curriculum objectives,we should adhere to the general goal of cultivating morality and educating people.On this basis,we should construct the training objectives of ideological and political courses in middle and high schools on the whole,study the curriculum standards,implement the cohesion work,analyze the curriculum objectives,and identify the differences in the objectives.In terms of teaching content,to realize the integration of teaching content,overall planning teaching material content,in the teaching of high school ideological course teaching content of coherence,schools and education competent department can research and development of teaching materials,thus reduce the difficulty between the high school education course span,also need to carefully compare high school education course teaching material,hierarchical in the teaching.In terms of teaching methods,teachers need to carry out step by step teaching based on the gradient of teaching materials,and at the same time,they should follow the law of students’ physical and mental development and strengthen the guidance of students’ learning methods.In the teaching process,it is necessary to cultivate students’ active connection according to the learning situation,carry out ladder teaching combined with the gradient of teaching materials,and carry out learning method guidance for students.In terms of teacher team construction,it is necessary to improve the communication mechanism between schools and teachers,conduct necessary cohesion training for teachers,and improve the key
