| In recent years,subcultures such as "Buddhism","laying flat" and "lousy" have become popular among college students,and some of them have the attitude of not wanting to be better but only wanting to reach the standard in the face of courses and exams.In the face of competition and defeat,they tend to avoid and doubt their own ability.In general,they have low levels of growth mindset,such as achievement motivation,and academic self-efficacy,and they have negative attitudes toward the future,future time perspective needs to be improved.growth mindset,achievement motivation,academic self-efficacy,and attitudes toward challenges are important components of a growth mindset,and future time perspective represents an individual’s perceptions and attitudes toward self-development.Studies have shown that each dimension of growth mindset has a significant influence on future time perspective,family background is an important influence on their ability and future-oriented efforts.Therefore,family socioeconomic status plays a particularly important role in exploring the influence of future time perspective on growth mindset.This study took 871 undergraduate students in China as the research objects,investigated their family socioeconomic status,growth thinking level and future time insight performance,and analyzed the data relationship between them by software SPSS27.0.The following conclusions can be drawn:1.Family socioeconomic status differed among undergraduates in terms of gender,type of household registration,type of institution,and type of major.Growth mindset and future time perspective differed on gender,grade level,type of institution,type of major,and grade position of college students.2.Growth mindset and future time perspective showed a significant positive correlation.3.The behavioral commitment,future imagery,future efficacy and sense of purpose of future time perspective,and family socioeconomic status had significant positive effects on growth mindset,with family socioeconomic status playing a moderating role.Based on the data analysis results,the interview method is used to supplement the conclusions obtained.In order to improve the future time insight and growth thinking performance of college students and reduce the adverse impact of the disadvantaged socioeconomic status of the family,the three levels of universities,individuals and families can be carried out by integrating the data and the interview results:First of all,colleges and universities should train teachers with empathy,transfer the growth mindset concept in teaching,provide students with a variety of resource channels,and promote the development of students’ potential.Secondly,students need to change their own views on efforts,dig out the motivation and goal of efforts,correctly view "lying flat",actively adjust the level of motivation,and find their own development goals.Finally,Parents also need to explore appropriate and effective ways of education,provide timely help and guidance to their children,pay attention to their children’s growth,and provide encouragement and support at the spiritual level. |
