| Future time perspective refers to the individual’s perception,experience,and action(or tendency to action)of time.Studies have confirmed that this personality trait will have an impact on learning,and some researches have been done on the mechanism of its influence on learning engagement.As we all know,self-control and learning are closely related,but few papers have combined the three variables to study.This paper aims to explore the relationship between future time insight,self-control and learning engagement,and the role of self-control group counseling.This study takes high school students as research sampling,using the "Adolescent’s Future Time Perspective Scale","Dual-Mode of Self-control Scale",and "The Questionnaire of the Students’ Learning Engagement" to analyze the relationship between future time perspective,self-control dual system,and learning engagement of 1003 high school students.The research results show that:(1)Future time perspective is positively correlated with learning engagement(r=0.224,p<0.01);Self-control-control systems are positively correlated with learning engagement(r=0.505,p<0.01);Self-control-impulse systems and learning engagement are negative correlated(r=0.371,p<0.01).(2)The Dual-Mode of Self-controlplay a parallelmediator effect between futuretime perspective and learning engagement,and the mediation effect accounts for 37.64% of the total effect.(3)There are significant differences in pre-testscoresof self-control-impulse systems,and counseling has a good intervention effect on self-control-impulse systems(t=3.256,p<0.01);The post-test of learning engagement is higher than the pre-test,and the counseling effect in learning engagement is limited.Conclusions: Dual-Mode of Self-control served as a mediator effect between FTP and the learning engagement;Counseling has a good intervention effect in the self-control-impulse systems. |
