Study On Home-School Collaboration To Improve College Students’ Mental Health Efficacy

The problem of college students’ mental health is a real problem,every year there will be college safety accidents caused by mental health,in the long run,it is not conducive to the cultivation of college students to become adults.At present,it is an important trend to strengthen college students’ mental health education that families and universities cooperate to educate students.Family education is the earliest education that college students come into contact with.Its influence on college students is extremely far-reaching,and it also directly affects the development of college students’ mental health.Colleges and families belong to different camps of college students’ mental health education.It is difficult to achieve the effect of mental health education by relying on colleges and universities alone.Therefore,it is necessary to promote the joint education of school education and family education.Based on the review of relevant literature,this study first clarified the core concept of home-school collaboration to improve the mental health efficacy of college students,and built a theoretical model of home-school collaboration to improve the mental health efficacy of college students by referring to and using theories related to educational management and psychology,indicating the important role of home-school collaboration in the mental health education of college students.Secondly,questionnaire survey was used to collect data of 496 college students from 15 universities in Hebei,Beijing and Tianjin as research objects,and the relationship among four variables of home-school synergy,college students’ mental health,college students’ self-identity and satisfaction(evaluation of synergy effect)was discussed.The analysis results show that the conclusions of different groups of college students are as follows:first,home-school cooperative education has a positive impact on the mental health development of college students;Second,satisfaction(evaluation of synergy effect)plays an intermediary role in the relationship between home-school synergy and college students’ mental health,that is,there is a path of "home-school synergy→ satisfaction→college students’ mental health".Thirdly,self-identity of college students plays an intermediary role in the relationship between home-school synergy and college students’ mental health,that is,there is a path of home-school synergy→college students’ self-identity→college students’ mental health.Fourth,self-identity and satisfaction of college students(evaluation of synergy effect)play a role of chain mediation in the relationship between home-school synergy and college students’ mental health,that is,there is a path of "home-school synergy→satisfaction→college students’ selfidentity→college students’ mental health".The results show that the overall development of home-school cooperation in improving college students’ mental health efficacy is at a moderate and low level.Based on the empirical analysis results,through in-depth interviews with 12 parents and teachers of college students in sample universities,The analysis results show that there are five problems: the cognitive deviation of parents and schools in mental health education,the low participation of parents in the school coordination of mental health educators,the backward mode of the school coordination of mental health educators,the improper arrangement of the school coordination of mental health education activities in colleges and universities,and the incomplete evaluation and reward mechanism of the school coordination of mental health educators.Finally,based on the results of questionnaire survey and interview content,In summary and conclusion,the root causes of the problems in the home-school collaboration to improve the effectiveness of college students’ mental health are mainly the backward education concept of both sides in the home-school collaboration,the lack of innovation and integration of the content of home-school collaboration to carry out college students’ mental health education,the professional quality of both sides to be improved in the home-school collaboration to carry out college students’ mental health education,and the lack of long-term effect of home-school collaboration to carry out mental health education Mechanism and supervision management policy four aspects.According to the results of root investigation,this study puts forward the construction strategy of home-school collaboration to improve college students’ mental health effectiveness from four aspects: First,the idea of home-school collaborative mental health education should be set up by both the home and school.It includes facing up to the educational value of mental health,making clear the educational goal and establishing that mental health education is the joint responsibility of both home and school.The second is to enrich the content of home-school collaboration in mental health and enhance the self-identity of college students.It includes four aspects: giving play to the leading role of colleges and universities to establish diversified communication channels,strengthening the construction of characteristic courses of mental health in colleges and universities,strengthening the construction of campus culture of homeschool mental health,and innovating the practice of collaborative education of mental health educators and schools.The third is to shape the top-level design,improve the professional quality of mental health educators and schools,and enhance the collaborative effect evaluation.It includes three aspects: improving the competence of parents education in mental health education,improving the professional level of mental health teachers in colleges and universities,attaching importance to psychological education and training,and improving the comprehensive ability and quality of counselors.Fourth,improve the support mechanism,improve the level of mental health educators school coordination.It includes providing relevant guidance to strengthen the construction of home-school coordination mechanism,the implementation of home-school financing and the supervision and material guarantee.
