Children's mental health has become the consensus of the whole society as an important foundation of “human development”.In October 2012,it thoroughly implemented the Outline of the National Medium and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)and the significance of State Council on the current development of preschool education,the education department has formulated the "Guide to the Learning and Development of Children aged 3 to 6 Years".The Guidelines clearly stipulates that children's learning and development should be divided into five major areas.The health field must bear the brunt of this and become other areas of learning and The basis of development.Health includes both physical and psychological aspects.It is a physical and mental perfection and good adaptability.Mental health plays an important role in the healthy growth of children.In the preschool education stage,timely and effective mental health education for young children not only helps children to understand themselves and learn emotion regulation,but also helps them develop social adaptability and develop good behavior habits,this is the inevitable requirement of modern education.The research on kindergarten mental health education can be based on the improvement of related theories and guide the kindergarten to apply the theory to mental health education.This article takes four kindergartens in the main urban area of Nanchong City as the research object,combines observation methods,interviews,etc.to investigate the small,middle,and large classes of these four kindergartens,and records and analyzes the status quo of education.Based on this,The situation of development should be given corresponding educational improvement suggestions to promote the further development of the kindergarten's mental health education.The study draws the following conclusions:At present,among the four kindergartens in the main downtown area of Nanchong City,as of November 2017,no kindergarten has set up a special mental health education curriculum.Most mental health education behaviors are mixed in one day activities and are irregular and Not preset.The goal of these kindergartens' mental health education is to correct the children's existing psychological problems and behaviors.The teacher's oral instruction is the main implementation method,supplemented by the use of video and audio materials and the use of games,paintings,and small items.There are lack of attention,insufficient depth of implementation,imperfect theoretical system,and disconnected from practice and unscientific operation,and so on.The reasons lies in the lack of internal joint force of education from kindergarten management,frontline teachers,and parents,and external lack of support from all sides.In view of the current situation and shortcomings,based on the analysis of the reasons,the study gives six promotion strategies,including the government support,the attention of kindergarten management,the improvement of the quality of preschool teachers,the support of teachers colleges and research institutes,the cooperation of parents of young children,and community support.And specific operations are elaborated in detail.It is hoped that this will serve as a reference for the development of kindergarten mental health education in China.
