Children’s mental health education is receiving more and more attention.As the main place of children’s life,family and kindergarten are the two systems that influence the development of children’s mental health,how to make use of home co-education to carry out mental health education in kindergarten has become a problem to be solved in this study.In this study,84 teachers and 162 parents from 3 kindergartens of different levels in a district of c city were investigated by questionnaire.The study also conducted interviews with 9 teachers with different years of teaching experience and educational background,as well as 9 parents with different educational background and occupation,in-depth understanding of kindergartens using home co-education for Mental Health Education of the specific implementation.The results show that both sides begin to pay attention to home co-education and children’s mental health education,but lack of professional cognition and education methods;The frequency of kindergarten psychological health education is low,the form of communication is single,the level is low,and the cooperation is not deep enough.The results also showed that there were differences in the degree of co-education and the level of psychological health development among the three kindergartens.It was found that the kindergartens with better home co-education had higher level of psychological health development.Through the interview further understanding of the three kindergartens to carry out the specific situation.Based on this,the following suggestions are put forward: First,to establish a correct concept of home co-education and Psychological Health Education for young children;Second,to create a family and kindergarten environment with a healthy atmosphere;and third,to develop a psychological health curriculum,comprehensive use of various forms of home co-education;fourth,the use of network platform to create information-based home communication channels;fifth,explore community resources,request community mental health professional institutions to help. |
