Research On The Current Situation And Development Countermeasures Of Operation And Management Of Large Public Sports Centers

Large-scale public stadiums and gymnasiums are important parts of urban public infrastructure.They can play a strong role in giving play to the value of public services and promoting urban development,and play a good role in local economic development and improving urban functions and people’s lives.At the same time,both the construction cost of large-scale public gymnasiums and the maintenance cost of facilities are generally high.The operation and management are difficult.Once the operation condition is not ideal in the later stage and the utilization is insufficient after the game,it will bring a heavy burden to the government.Therefore,it is necessary to explore the operation and management of large-scale public stadiums in China in detail,and promote their operation and management to be more modern and standardized through effective summary and analysis.This thesis comprehensively uses the research methods of questionnaire and expert interviews,taking the S Olympic Sports Center as an example,to analyze the operation and management of public gymnasiums and locate the real problems that affect public interests in the operation and management.It uses the 4Cs marketing theory,public product theory,cost-benefit theory and other tools to scientifically discuss the operation and management of large-scale public gymnasiums.It will provide experience and theoretical support for solving the difficult problems in the operation and management of large-scale public gymnasiums in China and promoting their high-quality development.The research results show that:(1)The operation and management of the S Olympic Sports Center is good in general.Most of the indicators meet or exceed the relevant requirements of the provincial sports bureau,but the national fitness indicators have not yet met the corresponding requirements,and need to be further improved.(2)The advantages are mainly reflected in its large scale,complete functions,advanced facilities,high popularity in the society,and strong policy support from the government.(3)Badminton,track and field,and basketball are the main consumption items of S Olympic Sports Center.We need to focus on the maintenance of the facilities of the above items to provide a good consumption environment for the fitness people.(4)There is no big price advantage in S Olympic Sports Center for its fitness price is basically the same as that of the fitness venues in the urban area.In addition,its geographical location in S City is relatively remote,which is the main reason for the failure to complete the comprehensive fitness index.(5)The main problems in the operation and management of large-scale public stadiums and gymnasiums represented by S Olympic Sports Center are imperfect transportation facilities,limited development of intangible assets,weakness in brand building,bad operation and management,lack of professional management talents,backward in management system,marketing means lag,difficulties in compatibility of its public welfare and operation.In view of the above deficiencies,corresponding countermeasures will be put forward:(1)Plan ahead and design the post-game operation management of venues in multiple ways;(2)Change operation idea and innovate operation management system and mode;(3)Hire professional teams to improve the level of venue operation and management;(4)Pay attention to market development and improve the economic benefits of venues;(5)Refine operation management and reduce operation and maintenance costs.
