Improving students’ core competence is an important trend of international education reform in the 21 st century.It enables students to meet the needs of the future society and promote the lifelong learning and all-round development of teachers and students under the background of globalization and computerization.Combined with the newly issued "double reduction" policy and the art curriculum standard for compulsory education(2022Edition),pay attention to the development of students.The focus of education is to put moral education first,improve the level of intellectual education,strengthen physical and aesthetic education,implement labor education,and strive to build a compulsory education curriculum system with Chinese characteristics and world standards.Focus on the development of core literacy of Chinese students.In view of the development of art community education and teaching,school education began to pay attention to aesthetic education and care about the development of students’ core literacy.It is the need to realize high-quality education and school development under the "double reduction" policy.The most important thing is to set learning goals and change learning methods.Through the investigation and analysis of the education and teaching situation of the art community of Qingzhen No.2 middle school in Guiyang and the questionnaire of students,it is found that the problems and deficiencies in the development and implementation of the art community teaching of Qingzhen No.2 middle school in Guiyang are mainly reflected in four aspects: the teaching content is not rich,the teaching hours are not enough,the students’ ability of autonomous learning is insufficient,and the teachers’ professional ability is low.The reasons for this situation are: the school’s art education resources have not been fully developed;Lack of strict community management and measures;The evaluation and reward system of community counseling teachers is not perfect;Insufficient development and use of resources;In order to solve the above problems.Compared with the teaching of art associations in other provinces and regions,this paper studies the teaching and practice of art associations in Guiyang Qingzhen No.2middle school and even ordinary middle schools across the country,so as to promote the development of art education,and puts forward four suggestions: increase the class hour arrangement of associations,make effective use of various resources to enrich teaching content,give full play to the main role of students in community teaching,and strengthen the professional ability training of tutors in charge of associations.In the context of the "double reduction" policy,education will pay more attention to improving students’ humanistic quality.In order to adapt to this reform,we should better meet the needs of art education under the background of art curriculum standards for compulsory education(2022 Edition).We should constantly summarize the teaching and practical experience of middle school art associations,and further study and develop the teaching of school-based art associations at the overall level of the development of schools and art disciplines.It provides reference value for the management and development of the teaching and practice of middle school art associations.
