In recent years,education and teaching have paid more and more attention to the cultivation of students’ thinking skills,and people are increasingly aware that more important than the simple learning of knowledge.Most importantly,the cultivation of learning methods and learning abilities.The level of students’ thinking quality is directly related to whether they can really integrate what they have learned or not and turn it into their own use.In terms of teaching ancient poetry and literature in high school,it is necessary to introduce some methods of teaching thinking at the right time.Many ancient poems and literature in high school are obscure and difficult for students to learn,which requires us to innovate the existing teaching methods,and the thinking visualization method is a practical way to achieve innovation and improve teaching effectiveness.The visualization method usually presents important knowledge points with the help of diagrams,which have the characteristics and advantages of clear and intuitive,clear structure,and concurrent text,and can help students effectively integrate knowledge and form a personal thinking system,so that they can learn ancient poetry and literature more efficiently and understand the essence of our ancient excellent traditional culture more deeply.However,for a long time,due to the weaknesses of traditional teaching methods and the heavy task of learning ancient poetry and literature,the teaching contents include basic knowledge of words and sentences,comprehension of meaning,emotional understanding,cultural aesthetics and other aspects,teachers generally neglect them or have no time to consider the teaching of thinking training and the use of visual teaching methods.In this regard,it is necessary to strengthen the application and research of the visualization method of thinking in teaching ancient poetry and literature in high school.This essay is divided into four chapters,except for the introduction and conclusion.The introductory part introduces the basis and reasons for the selection of the topic,sorts out the current status of the research,and clarifies the significance of the topic and the research method.Chapter 1 defines the concepts of thinking visualization method and thinking visualization teaching,clarifies the theoretical basis of the application of thinking visualization method,including brain science theory,schema theory,constructive learning theory and points out the important application value of thinking visualization method in teaching ancient poetry and literature in high school,including teacher’s promotion and leadership,students’ transfer and internalization,and subject integration and innovation.Chapter 2 investigates and analyzes the current situation of the application of the visualization method in teaching ancient poetry and literature in high school,in order to find out the problems and explore the root causes of the problems.Through the survey and analysis of students’ and teachers’ questionnaires,combined with the author’s daily teaching practice,this paper concludes that the problems and causes on the teachers’ side are: weak awareness of teaching thinking and insufficient attention to it;single form of teaching and lack of innovation;lack of teachers’ knowledge and weak guidance.The problems and reasons on the students’ side are: the method is difficult to accept and they are resistant to it;the method is not well mastered and the effect is not outstanding.Chapter 3 refers to the existing problems,the application strategies of thinking visualization method in teaching ancient poetry and literature in high school are proposed: First,the requirements and methods of drawing thinking visualization diagrams are clarified,including knowing the classification and characteristics of common thinking visualization diagrams,screening and refining key words,focusing on symbol creation and illustration.The second is to standardize the way of applying thinking visualization diagrams,including assisting teaching and highlighting students’ main body;teaching according to the material,paying attention to the appropriateness of the method application;teaching evaluation diversification,stimulating students’ creativity.The third is to implement the application from before,during and after the class.Chapter 4 shows the case of teaching practice,taking The Emperor And The Assassin and ’Charm of a Maiden Singer ’Memories of the Past at Red Cliff as examples to show the application and practical effects of visualization in teaching high school literary texts and ancient poems,in order to summarize the successes and failures.The concluding section summarizes the whole text and clarifies the direction of future efforts.
