Having involved in music education all his life,Emile Jaques-Dalcroze has established a set of music education system,which has generated extensive influence in the world.It is found that music appreciation is put in the first place from the interpretation of the new curriculum standard,so the significant role of music appreciation is shown.A necessary and efficient way to improve one’s music accomplishment lies in the accumulation of music appreciation.The enhancement of music accomplishment can make students more active in music activities such as singing,playing,body rhythm,so as to make them have a deeper understanding of music.In addition to enabling students to better experience music,understand the emotional color of music,cultivate students’ sense of rhythm and music,Dalcroze’s body rhythm teaching method can also fully cultivate students’ imagination and creativity.For Dalcroze’ s music body rhythm among the three elements of action such as time,space and strength,it can make students exercise a variety of music elements through the action process.Therefore,students’ sense of rhythm and perception of music can be cultivated through the application of this teaching method in music appreciation class.This research aims at studying how to use the body rhythm teaching method in middle school music appreciation class by taking Dalcroze’s body rhythm teaching method as the theory basis,combining the music curriculum standards and considering middle school students’ psychology of learning music.In the aspect of theory,the Dalcroze’s body rhythm teaching method is combed for middle school music appreciation class.Firstly,the significance and role of Dalcroze’s body rhythm teaching method in middle school music appreciation class are clarified.Secondly,the performance of middle school students in the music appreciation class is analyzed.The theory in Dalcroze’ s body rhythm teaching method is used to explore the appropriate teaching design.Thirdly,the reflection and prospect of using Dalcroze’ s body rhythm teaching method in appreciation class are conducted,and the feasible basis is provided for future teaching.In the introduction part of the thesis,the requirements on music appreciation class stipulated in the national music curriculum standards are mainly combined to find out the opportunity of Dalcroze’ s body rhythm teaching method.In the first chapter,the value of applying Dalcroze’s body rhythm teaching method in appreciation class is analyzed.In the second chapter,the problems existing in XXXX appreciation class teaching are summarized through classroom records.In the third chapter,the teaching design of body rhythm for the three class hours in the second volume of grade seven is completed in line with the theoretical basis and the present status.In the fourth chapter,the questionnaire survey,experiment comparison,analysis and combing of the effects of the practical application of teaching design in the classroom are conducted,the summary of problems and reflection are done,and the solutions are proposed for the generated problems.According to Dalcroze’ s body rhythm teaching method and the requirements of the course standard for music appreciation class,the opportunities among them are found to form the corresponding teaching design.The teaching method is used in music appreciation class to cultivate students’ sense of rhythm and perception of music.In accordance with the above analysis the way of combining practice with theory will be adopted.The research and thinking on how to improve teachers’ ability to apply Dalcroze’ s body rhythm teaching method in middle school music appreciation class are carried out.In this way,the efficiency of the class can be further enhanced,the teaching of appreciation class can also be carried out more efficiently and qualitatively.The following is the research results:1.The application of Dalcroze’ s body rhythm teaching method in middle school appreciation class is feasible.2.A new model is provided by Dalcroze’s body rhythm teaching method for middle school music appreciation class.3.The constant learning of the knowledge of body rhythm and improvement of the teaching ability of body rhythm are necessary for teachers.4.The application of body rhythm teaching method should closely combine with the curriculum standards,students’ learning conditions and site conditions.
