With the implementation of new curriculum standards,new teaching materials and new college entrance examination,the hope of high school biology education is that in the process of learning,students can not only master basic knowledge,but also form biological characteristics that constitute the core literacy of biology with the concept of life.This puts forward higher requirements for biology teachers that the teachers need to complete their common teaching and at the same time to guide the students to learn to construct a knowledge system independently,so as to implement the core literacy of biology better in the new era.As a learning tool,knowledge visualization can help students change cognitive mode,promoting a meaningful learning.As a teaching concept,knowledge visualization can help teachers to conduct a teaching reflection and assist teachers in teaching program design.While knowledge framework,considered as a tool for explicit teachers’ PCK knowledge,can help preprofessional teachers to deepen their understanding of teaching materials,forming a knowledge system with its own characteristics.However,there is little reports to combined knowledge framework and knowledge visualization tool on the application of biology teaching.Once the combination of knowledge framework and knowledge visualization tool get widely applied,it can not only help the teachers to clarify teaching ideas and form their distinctive teaching characteristics,but also help the students to consolidate and rationalize biological knowledge,which is conducive to building a knowledge system,improving academic performance and implementing the core literacy of biology.Specific results of the study are divided into three parts:1.The knowledge framework is divided into declarative knowledge and procedural knowledge according to the knowledge classification theory.Through the path constructed by the knowledge framework,we selected two parts of "Molecules that Constitute Cells" and "Basic Laws of Genetics" to make presentation,and found that the knowledge framework had individual differences,disciplinary characteristics,dynamic variability,creativity and visibility.We made the conclusion that the knowledge framework may be used as a tool for knowledge visualization.2.According to the constructed knowledge framework of “Molecules that Constitute Cells",we considered “The Undertaker of Life Activities--Protein” as an example to guide the teachers on how to prepare for teaching.The practice summarized that using knowledge framework for teaching preparation had the advantages of “based on the teaching material,deepening the understanding of the teaching materials” and “breaks the routine and forms a teaching plan with its own characteristics”,proposing a basic paradigm of instructional preparation when teachers using knowledge frameworks.3.In teaching practice,teachers designed their teaching plans instructed by that knowledge frameworks were analyzing the situation of students pre-learning.In class,teachers designed teaching activities on the construction of knowledge frameworks to guide students to solve problems such as incomprehension of difficult knowledge points and inaccurate knowledge relationships.After class,teachers used the knowledge framework to detect the changes of students before and after class.The research illustrated that knowledge framework is beneficial for the monitoring of learning situation and the construction of the knowledge system,and the knowledge framework can be considered as the general steps of high school biology teaching.Knowledge framework was considered as a tool of knowledge visualization by refining the characteristics of knowledge framework.This study proposed suggested that the knowledge framework could be used to the preparation of basic methods of teaching and the general steps of high school biology teaching,providing a new teaching preparation idea,a new teaching method and a new tool to evaluate students’ knowledge system for teachers.
