Research On The Role Adaptation Of "Village To Residence" From The Perspective Of Social Participation

In the process of urbanization under the leadership of the state,a large number of villages withdraw and live together,farmers replaced their identities as urban residents at the cost of their land loss,and the "village to residence" community emerged at the historic moment.From traditional villages to urban communities,spatial changes have posed challenges to community grassroots governance.The disappearance of semi-private courtyards and vertical residence cause physical space changes,which then makes the communication environment of residents different from rural communities.The dual change of physical space and communication space leads to a lot of discomfort of community residents,especially the elderly.After moving back,the elderly people launch social participation in different spaces,presenting the spatial logic of "family-community-city" with blood relationship on the basis of interest.In the process of citizenization,the "village to residence" elderly have achieved role adaptation through social participation.However,influenced by the different social participation degree of the subject,the "village to residence" elderly show a trend of passive integration and active adaptation in the process of role adaptation.The passive social participation of the "village to residence" elderly makes them achieve the shallow adaptation of urban life,while the active social participation enables the elderly to achieve the multi-dimensional identity of physical,social and meaningful space.In order to promote the social adaptation of the "village to residence" elderly,the article points out that the government should play a leading role in the process of space reconstruction,and coordinate the participation of community residents,so that the "village to residence" community can achieve spatial coupling.After the relocation,the community subject should advocate the active social participation of the returning elderly people,and play the multiple subject functions,so as to promote the role adaptation of the elderly in the process of citizenization.
