In the new era,school physical education bears the burden of fostering the all-round development of students and enhancing their comprehensive quality.Curriculum and teaching models are the intermediaries that connect teaching objectives with practice.The sports education model is the most widely used teaching model and is worth learning from.At the same time,it is the best choice for the "teaching-learning through competition" concept,and is a concrete expression of new ideas in curriculum reform such as "project-based" and "large units".However,since the introduction of the sports education model in China,research has focused mainly on the university level,to a lesser extent on the junior and senior secondary levels,and even less on the primary level,with less research on psychological factors such as interest in learning and social adaptation,and without a gender perspective in the exploration of skills.Based on this,this study selects junior high school students as the research object,and uses football-specific teaching as a basis to explore the model’s impact on junior high school students’ football sport skills,interest in physical education learning and social adaptation,to further enrich the theory and practice of domestic sports education models at the junior high school level,to enrich the theory and practice of teaching models to improve the teaching of physical education and health courses at the junior high school level,and to promote the teaching of junior high school physical education and health courses more The study will help to promote the teaching of physical education and health in junior high schools in a more scientific and efficient manner.This study mainly adopts the methods of literature,questionnaire and teaching experiment.Students from two Year 7 classes(Class 5 and Class 2)of the Junior Middle School affiliated to Shanghai University of Technology were randomly selected as the experimental subjects.Before and after the experimental intervention,the "Evaluation Scale of Middle School Students’ Interest in Physical Education Learning",the "Social Adaptation Scale for Middle School Students" and the football sports skills test index were selected as research tools to test and statistically analyse the experimental subjects.Research findings.1)Both the movement education model and the traditional teaching model can improve students’ football motor skills.The sports education model promoted students’ ability to shoot around the bar better than the traditional teaching model.2)The sports education model was more effective than the traditional teaching model in improving girls’ ability to turn the ball over on their own and boys’ ability to shoot around the bar.3)Both the sports education model and the traditional teaching model improve students’ interest level in physical education.The movement education model promotes students’ active interest in physical education learning,sports participation,autonomy and inquiry,attention to physical education and sports awareness dimensions better than the traditional teaching model.4)Both the movement education model and the traditional teaching model improve students’ level of social adjustment.The facilitation effect of the movement education model was better than that of the traditional teaching model on the dimensions of students’ self-awareness and adaptation to social interaction.The study recommends that.1)An attempt to integrate the multi-sport component of the sports education model season.2)Longer season lengths and exercise skill practice periods.3)Focus on establishing classroom routines prior to the sports season.4)Follow-up on research into promoting greater participation of girls in the season. |
