Research On Group Work Involved In The Campus Adaptation Of Retired College Students

In recent years,local levels have sent batch after batch of outstanding college students to the army to provide high-quality troops for the construction of a world-class army.Colleges and universities have gradually become a strategic reserve base for high-quality troops.College students respond to the call of the motherland and join the army.With the expiration of the two-year service period,college student soldiers chose to return to school to continue their studies after leaving the barracks.The number of retired college students is gradually increasing,and this group has become a special group on college campus.Retired college students changed from an ordinary college student to a glorious soldier.After two years of military life,they changed from a soldier to a college student.In the face of the huge differences between the military camp and the school environment,some retired college students cannot immediately adapt to the diverse college life,resulting in a variety of adaptation dilemmas.In this paper,29 retired college students were interviewed on the issues of restudy dilemma,life experience and adaptive action.It was found that this group could not reasonably allocate the dual identity of ’veterans’ and college students’,which was the reason for their adaptation dilemma.Based on the difficulties encountered by retired college students and the reasons for the difficulties,after the needs assessment of the group,social workers provided group work services for retired college students facing the difficulties of re-study.By improving the identity of ’veterans’ and ’college students’ of retired college students,we can help the group to rationally allocate the dual identity of ’veterans’ and ’college students’,and promote the formation of retired college students ’ identity’ Through the helping behavior of social workers,helping retired college students to achieve self-help,can independently solve the adaptation dilemma encountered after returning to school,promote the self-growth of the group,and bring positive impact on the development of the country,society and individuals.
