The teaching of ancient poetry plays an important role in cultivating students’ core quality of Chinese.There are some problems in the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school,such as inappropriate teaching objectives and unreasonable teaching methods.The application of comparative teaching method can effectively solve these problems.However,the practical application of comparative teaching method is often superficial,arbitrary and piecemeal.In view of this,the author conducts research on the application of comparative teaching method in the teaching of ancient poetry in high school Chinese,and tries to put forward effective application methods and strategies.This study consists of three parts:introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part uses the literature research method,which mainly expounds the origin,significance,status quo,objectives,ideas and methods of the research.The text contains four parts.First,it defines the connotation of comparative teaching method,and expounds its theoretical basis from the perspectives of philosophy and educational psychology.On this basis,it clarifies the feasibility of applying comparative teaching method in the teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school.Better understand the connotation of fine traditional culture.Secondly,questionnaire survey and interview method are used to investigate the current situation of comparative teaching of ancient poetry in high school,and it is found that the application of comparative teaching method has problems such as low frequency,poor effect and lack of summary,and the causes of these problems are analyzed.Thirdly,the case analysis method is used to review the comparative teaching of ancient poetry in senior high school from the perspectives of horizontal comparison and vertical comparison.Finally,according to the above,the paper puts forward the application method of comparative teaching method,makes clear the specific steps of the implementation of comparative teaching of ancient poetry,and puts the theory into practice,in order to better reflect the value of comparative teaching method in practice.As a comparative teaching method that gives full play to teachers’ leading role,respects students’ main position,improves students’ thinking quality and aesthetic appreciation ability,its application prospect should not be underestimated.The conclusion part is the review,summary and prospect of the full text.It is hoped that more educators can apply the comparative teaching method in the teaching of ancient poetry to improve the teaching quality of ancient poetry.
