At present, the common problems of secondary school teaching are that students have weak foundation, poor concentration, and weak learning initiative;young teachers have less teaching practice, insufficient teaching experience and poor knowledge teaching;old teachers’ teaching style lacks innovation and is not attractive enough to students;comprehensive classroom management is heavy, compressing the preparation time and pulling teaching energy. The problems of teachers and students are confronting each other and are difficult to solve, which always affects secondary school teaching. As a first-of-its-kind teaching model in China,PAD Class is divided into three parts: presentation, assimilation and discussion, and it has been used with good success in various academic and professional fields. For teachers,it is not difficult to use, quick to master and saves preparation time;for students,it has the advantage of mobilizing initiative and exercising language skills. After analysis,it is feasible to study the possibility and value of splitting the classroom in the derivative accounting classroom.Financial Accounting for Businesses is a fundamental course for secondary accounting majors, and it plays a very important role in the secondary accounting curriculum. This theoretical course, which includes comprehensive accounting knowledge, requires a high level of teaching ability for secondary school teachers, and problems exist are more stubborn and urgent for teaching reform. In this study, four methods, namely literature research method, controlled experiment method, questionnaire survey method and interview method, were used to delineate a semester as an experimental period in senior two(3)classes and senior two(4)classes of a secondary school to study the application of PAD Class in the secondary Corporate Financial Accounting course. Finally, the questionnaires were analyzed to compare the performance before and after the application, and the reasons for this were explored in conjunction with interviews. The following conclusions were brought: firstly,PAD Class is conducive to developing students’ professionalism, especially their sense of responsibility, organisational planning skills,efficiency,self-control and expanded thinking. However, the development of career aspirations, one of the four core dimensions of career literacy for secondary school students,is weak.Secondly,PAD Class can create a lively classroom atmosphere, cultivate students’ interest in the subject and improve their attention in class.Thirdly, inappropriate use of PAD Class may cause students to think tired and less enthusiastic about learning.
