Under the background of urbanization,rural education is gradually separated from local reality and students’ life experience.Placed-based education has become a feasible way to connect students with local culture,and the leadership of rural school principals in Placed-based education is very important in this process.The key to the reform of rural education lies in the Placed-based education,the future of rural students lies in schools,and the key to the implementation of rural schools lies in principals.Whether rural headteachers have leadership in Placed-based education and can effectively implement Placed-based education in accordance with local realities,it is crucial to cultivate talents rooted in rural areas.Through the visit and interview of several rural primary schools,this study found that the key to whether rural schools can carry out Placed-based education lies in whether rural principals have leadership in Placed-based education.The effective implementation of Placed-based education depends on the people on the ground.The leadership of rural principals in Placed-based education is directly related to how they mobilize teachers,parents,pool local resources,community resources and government resources to carry out Placed-based education.Finally,some countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the leadership of rural principals in Placed-based education. |
