Quality education requires the enhancement of aesthetic education for students and the improvement of students’ aesthetic and artistic cultivation in educational activities,and it is not difficult to conclude that the status of aesthetic education in basic education is increasing.Music,as a kind of emotional art,has the function of aesthetic,moral and intellectual education in the form of sound to enhance its own spiritual world,and is an important curriculum resource to add interest to the classroom and implement aesthetic education.Introducing music elements into high school biology classroom is a very novel way to implement the effectiveness of aesthetic education and enhance students’ interest in learning biology.At present,such curriculum resources have not been effectively developed in biology teaching.Based on previous research results,this study clarifies how to develop music resources into high-quality biology adapted songs,how to select appropriate background music to match with relevant teaching sessions,and summarizes its application principles and introduction methods.In this study,we conducted a questionnaire survey on teachers in the internship school through two methods: literature research method and survey research method,and learned that the application of music resources in high school biology teaching showed two kinds of reasons: the lack of innovative atmosphere in schools,the influence of exam-oriented education,and the mix of good and bad music resources.Through a questionnaire survey of students,we learned that students have a high degree of love for music resources and a high expectation for music resources to be used in biology teaching,which indicates that the application of music resources in biology teaching has a certain feasibility.Based on the previous research results and students’ preference for music,we summarized the implementation paths of developing biology songs and applying background music as two kinds of music resources applied to biology teaching,and proposed three teaching designs of“Quantitative Characteristics of Populations”,“Structure of Communities”and“Structure of Ecosystems”,taking Class A and Class B of the second year of a high school in Nanning City,Guangxi as the practice objects.After the teaching practice,teachers of the same subject group and students of the experimental classes were surveyed by questionnaire and interview method to understand the teaching feelings and teaching suggestions of students and teachers on the application of music resources to biology,and to draw the feasibility of applying music resources to biology teaching.The results of the study showed that 84.60% of the students agreed that the application of music resources to biology teaching had a positive effect on learning attitudes,79.07% agreed that the application of music resources to biology teaching helped learning behaviors,and 74.13% agreed that the application of music resources to biology teaching could improve learning effects.The introduction of music resources in high school biology teaching still has many unconsidered factors,such as the construction of a resource library of music resources and music resources as a form of homework to enhance students’ participation.However,in general: the teaching effect of introducing music resources into biology teaching has been affirmed by front-line teaching staff.Based on the research results,it is concluded that the application of music resources to biology teaching has a positive effect on students’ learning attitudes,learning behaviors,and learning outcomes.The introduction of music resources into biology teaching can effectively improve the teaching effectiveness,which deserves the attention of front-line teachers.This paper tries to apply music resources in biology teaching through a combination of theoretical and practical research methods,hoping to promote teachers’ teaching and students’ overall development,and to provide some reference for developing curriculum resources for biology teaching and contribute our own modest efforts.
