The new curriculum standard of senior high school emphasizes promoting the topic-oriented teaching mode,and the central topic in each part of the "teaching tips" provides directional guidance for the topic design of ideological and political teachers.However,if teachers want to effectively implement topic-based teaching in class,they must first master the requirements of discussion,participation and speculation of topics,and learn how to design topics scientifically and reasonably.Theoretically speaking,the topic design finally embodies the requirements of Marxist practical view and Marxist theory of all-round development of human beings,and it is also the embodiment of today’s educational reform drawing lessons from dialogue teaching theory,teaching topic setting theory and constructivist learning view.High school students have certain speculative ability and activity inquiry consciousness,and design reasonable topics,which is helpful for students to flexibly apply textbook knowledge to social practice.From the current situation of topic activities in ideological and political courses in senior high schools,there are still some problems in topic design.First of all,some teachers have insufficient knowledge of topic design and lack of clear cognition,which affects the effectiveness of topic-based teaching.Secondly,teachers’ design of the implementation process of the topic is rather loose,which leads to the fact that the speculative function of the topic has not achieved the expected effect,and students’ participation needs to be improved;Finally,the way teachers evaluate the topic is slightly single.However,some teachers’ inaccurate grasp of the difficulty of topic design,the ability of hierarchical design of topic need to be improved,the design of topic experience need to be deepened,and the insufficient diversified design of topic evaluation methods are the main reasons for the above problems.In addition,teachers are limited by teaching time,teaching energy and other teaching conditions when designing topics,which is also an important objective reason.From the perspective of teachers and students,there are four optimization strategies for the topic design of ideological and political courses in senior high schools.First of all,from the perspective of teachers,it is necessary to update their educational ideas,improve the ability of topic design,and build the logical framework of topic system based on subject knowledge.Secondly,from the aspect of students,we must design issues related to practical problems based on students’ dominant position.Thirdly,from the perspective of schools,it is necessary to strengthen relevant seminars and trainings to broaden the channels for topic optimization.Finally,from the improvement of the evaluation mechanism,we must further improve the topic evaluation mechanism and follow the core literacy of the subject,so as to promote the effective implementation of topic-based teaching.
