Creating a high-quality education and cultivating people with all-round development in moral,intellectual,physical,social and aesthetic aspects is an important goal of socialist education with Chinese characteristics.The "Five Education Integration" concept of nurturing people is based on the "Five Education Together" concept,which provides new ideas for the all-round development of students.The implementation of the concept of nurturing ultimately requires the application of the macro concept to micro teaching,which can be used in real teaching situations.This study attempts to apply the concept of "five education integration" to specific reading teaching,to provide conceptual support from "five education integration" for high school reading teaching,and to further clarify the nurturing value of high school reading teaching.The study took the form of a combination of theoretical and practical research,using textual analysis,questionnaires,interviews and case studies to carry out the research.Firstly,from the perspective of "five education integration",the following problems exist in the current high school language reading teaching: the emphasis on knowledge and skills in the teaching process,neglecting the attention to students’ comprehensive literacy;teaching thinking is superficial,lacking in-depth exploration of the connotation of the text;teaching evaluation relies on test-taking standards,and the detailed analysis of students’ reading literacy needs to be strengthened.The study also found that front-line teachers did not have enough knowledge of the Five Literacies.In this study,an analysis of the appropriateness of the "Five Nurtures" for reading teaching in senior secondary schools was conducted to determine whether the "Five Nurtures" concept is applicable to solving the current problems of reading teaching in senior secondary schools.This study concludes that the mutual interpretation of "Five Education Integration" and "Language Core Literacy" can bring about further deepening of the concept of nurturing people in reading teaching;at the same time,"Five Education Integration" can The "Five Education Integration"can promote the sublimation of the value of reading teaching,which is reflected in "enlightening people with morality","transforming people with wisdom","strengthening people with physical fitness","delighting people with beauty" and "refining people with work"."Finally,by exploring the logical relationship of the "five education fusion",the teaching and learning styles can be transformed.The study then provides teaching strategies in the context of the "Five Education Integration",based on the real-life problems of reading teaching in high school and the appropriateness of the "Five Education Integration" for specific reading teaching.This study provides strategies for teaching and learning in the context of the ’Five Nurtures’ approach: firstly,the ’Five Nurtures’ approach is used to strengthen the focus on nurturing values in teaching design;secondly,the ’Five Nurtures’ approach is used to develop nurturing pathways in reading teaching methods;and thirdly,the ’Five Nurtures’ approach is used to promote the dynamic generation of reading classroom teaching.Finally,this study provides a case study of the researcher’s own teaching of "I and the Earth"(excerpt).In this case,the researcher’s teaching design was based on the three elements of "morality","wisdom" and "beauty",taking into account the content of the text and the students’ situation.In this case,the teaching design was based on the three elements of "morality","wisdom" and "beauty",and the concept of "Five Education Integration" was used as a grip to highlight the nurturing value of "morality","wisdom" and "beauty" in this lesson.The study shows that the concept of "Five Education Integration" can be effectively applied to the teaching of reading in high school,helping to identify problems and provide strategies that can be applied to specific teaching practices.
