To improve students' reading ability has always been unremitting pursuit of Chinese reading teaching in Middle school.Extracurricular reading and class reading is generally regarded as the basis of the formation of students'language proficiency,thus become the core-curricular in language teaching.However,many factors from examination? family and the education system should be blame to distract students from a sound reading.The lack of time? reading texts and the guide of reading are common problems in both extracurricular reading and class reading.This paper is based on Language Curricular Standard in Compulsory Educcation(2011),and also abide by the related pedagogic and psychology.Many methods such as document research?questionnaire survey and cases analysis,are used to explore the topic.At the very beginning,the article takes sampling to investigate the condition the secondary school students do the readings during and after class nowadays,to find out the current problems existing in the students both extracurricular reading and class reading,so as to do the attribution analysis and provide the reality basis for strategy is put forward.Then,according to the current situation,there should be three aspects of the content integration in the course:the language knowledge ?verbal literacy and Chinese accomplishment.Also,three links of integration has been proposed in theory:the link between teaching aim and after-class reading aim;the link between reading content and students' reading psychology;the link between reading material and the nature of Chinese.Finally,according to the situation of the students' reading,combining with the three principles above and several related reading theory,the author has put forward two strategy of extracurricular reading and class reading integration:"Theme-based" integration and “Issue-based" integration,in order to improve students'reading range from two different angle:emotional attitude values and rational logical thinking.So,students are bound to improve reading quality and quantity,and finally improve Chinese accomplishment by this way.
