| The Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Construction of Modern Vocational Education System is to thoroughly implement the decision and deployment of the Party Central Committee on vocational education work and the spirit of relevant important instructions and instructions from General Secretary Xi Jinping,to continuously promote the reform of the construction of modern vocational education system,to optimize the positioning of vocational education types,and to place a more prominent position in promoting the high-quality development of modern vocational education.PLC Programming and Application "is an important professional course for mechanical and electrical majors in secondary vocational and technical schools.This course is based on the basics of designing I/O distribution tables for PLC,drawing and writing wiring schematic diagrams,and PLC programming.It requires students to have high logical thinking and programming abilities.The traditional classroom teaching of "PLC Programming and Applications" adopts a teaching method,where teachers immerse themselves in "speeches" on the podium,and students may not actively acquire knowledge while listening below.They learn programming skills by repeatedly practicing classroom tasks.In traditional classroom teaching,students’ enthusiasm for learning is not high,and their ability to combine theory with practice is low.How to effectively enhance students’ enthusiasm for actively acquiring knowledge and enhance their subjective initiative in learning? Explore a teaching model that enhances students’ learning enthusiasm.Inspired by the phenomenon that games can attract students’ attention while traditional classroom teaching models find it difficult to do so? Identify the reasons why ’games’ attract students from their sources of interest,and combine them with teaching to propose a game challenge teaching model that integrates fun and theoretical practice.The game challenge teaching mode is actually "game in teaching","learning in game",and the game is also a task challenge.For example,when learning PLC programming and wiring project tasks or programming tasks,the PLC knowledge is learned and tested through game challenge,and the PLC wiring points and programming methods are unconsciously learned while playing the game;It is equivalent to converting the learning content into a part of the game,where students learn professional knowledge.By designing PLC professional operation skills into challenge tasks,students complete the assessment content in the "game" challenge,and measure their mastery based on the level of achievement,thus achieving the assessment purpose.Make students feel like they are playing games while studying.This article proposes the application research of game challenge teaching mode in the teaching of "PLC Programming and Application" course in vocational schools.The main work of the paper includes:(1)Analyze the current situation of integrating games into the classroom both domestically and internationally;(2)Design a game breakthrough teaching mode suitable for the course "PLC Programming and Application" in vocational colleges;(3)Carry out teaching practice in the course "PLC Programming and Application" in vocational colleges.The analysis of students’ learning outcomes shows that the game based challenge teaching model in this study has achieved the expected results in classroom teaching,providing valuable reference for the reform of classroom teaching in other vocational courses. |
