| In order to cultivate comprehensive talents to deal with complex environment,STEAM education was born,and in recent years,as an emerging education hot spot,STEAM has developing rapidly with the encouragement of the policies of the Ministry of Education.In this paper,we take middle school students as the research object to study the implementation strategies of STEAM education applied to middle school music teaching,and explore the collision between STEAM education featuring "interdisciplinary integration" and the existing sub-disciplinary teaching in middle school music classroom,and reshape the middle school music teaching strategy with a new perspective and approach.This paper explores the collision of the STEAM education with the existing sub-disciplinary teaching in junior high school music classrooms,and reshapes junior high school music teaching strategies in a new way.In this paper,we first analyze the current situation of domestic and international research on STEAM education through literature analysis,and conclude that the research on STEAM education in China is still in its initial stage,and it is necessary and urgent to be improved in both theory and practice.It is noteworthy that among the researches related to STEAM education,the research in the direction of music education in junior high school is extremely scarce.This paper will address this blind spot of research in depth,and will start the argumentation from both theoretical and practical aspects.On the theoretical side,the author outlines the relevant concepts and theoretical foundations required for the paper based on previous theoretical studies.Then,with regard to the interdisciplinary,practical and creative characteristics of STEAM education,the possibility and necessity of aligning STEAM education with China’s core literacy,music discipline core literacy and the middle school music textbook of people’s education press are explored.Then,based on the fit between STEAM education and the three,the author designs the principles of the middle school music teaching strategy based on STEAM education from three aspects: teaching objectives,teaching contents and teaching evaluation,so as to lay a theoretical foundation for the implementation of teaching in the latter part.In terms of practice,the author first conducted research through interview method to confirm the feasibility of implementing the STEAM education in Wuxiang Campus of Nanning No.14 Middle School;then selected seventh grade students in the middle school as the investigation subjects,designed teaching cases based on the teaching strategies developed in the previous paper,and then implemented the cases using the teaching practice method,and combined with the questionnaire survey method to conduct pre-test and post-test.Through the analysis of survey data,the effects of teaching implementation were compared and explored,and the research conclusions were finally summarized.The results show that under the same conditions,students recognized the STEAM teaching method more than the traditional teaching method,and were much more likely to remember,enjoy and understand the teaching content than the traditional classroom.Meanwhile,more than 70% of the students,had a positive attitude toward the integration of STEAM education with music class.Of course,this study still has some limitations and needs to be continued to be improved in the follow-up study. |
