The new curriculum standard points out that students should be helped to acquire rich Chinese literacy.Reading as the focus of Chinese teaching,its quality affects its ability to understand the text,think independently,appreciate and evaluate,criticize and question.In the traditional reading teaching,teachers often teach Chinese instead of Chinese,and steam education is a transformation based on the traditional education concept.It emphasizes the importance of knowledge and ability,pays attention to the close connection between learning life and real life,and pays attention to students' learning process rather than results.It not only advocates students to learn all kinds of interdisciplinary knowledge,but also advocates a new teaching method,that is,let students complete the projects related to life and interested in by hands-on practice,so as to cultivate students' creativity.In this regard,the author intends to learn from the application ideas of steam courses in mathematics,physics and other subjects,integrate the contents of history,art,society and other subjects into Chinese teaching in middle school,and design some inquiry tasks,so that students can solve specific problems through inquiry based on the knowledge,skills and abilities of Chinese subjects in the task situation.In this process,students integrate and internalize the basic knowledge,basic skills and general abilities of the Chinese subject they have mastered into the Chinese reading literacy.The content of this paper is as follows: Chapter One: introduction.Including the research background,research purpose,research review and significance,research ideas,research methods;Chapter II: steam concept,Chapter III: the connotation and concept of reading literacy,Chapter IV:Senior High School Students' reading ability status questionnaire,combined with the questionnaire,the author conducted a questionnaire survey on senior one,senior two and senior three students in my school,and tried to score the reasons for this reading status The purpose of this paper is to find out how well the teachers understand the steam concept and how to use it in reading teaching.Chapter five: Based on the teaching cases and the existing education theories,the author tries to construct the specific operation strategies and methods for senior high school students to improve their Chinese literacy.
