A Group Practice Study On Improving The Life Adaptability Of New Residents In Nursing Homes Under The Interactive Mode

In recent years,the trend of aging has become increasingly severe.Currently,China is facing enormous pressure on elderly care.From the perspective of elderly care needs,most elderly people have a greater demand for institutional elderly care,which leads to changes in their living and social environment.It takes some time to transition to this transformation of identity and role.Therefore,to address the issues related to the life adaptation ability of elderly people newly admitted to elderly care institutions,and to enhance their life adaptation to the institution.This article is based on the survey results of newly admitted elderly people living in Z elderly care institutions for about half a year.It deeply analyzes the living status of newly admitted elderly people and analyzes the problems they encounter in life adaptation,specifically manifested as maladaptation in institutional environment,institutional management,psychological emotions,and interpersonal communication.In this article,the author first provides a brief overview of the research background and content.At the same time,the research data is integrated to design a questionnaire and interview outline.The adaptability status and needs of 8 elderly people living in Z elderly care institutions for about six months are evaluated and analyzed,and goals are set.On this basis,recruit elderly people who have recently moved into elderly care institutions,and design interactive mode groups based on evaluation data to help new elderly people adapt to the new environment as soon as possible.Finally,through the intervention of group work,the elderly people who have recently moved into the institution have improved their living environment,basic needs,psychological aspects,and interpersonal communication,and have basically integrated into the new living environment.The group work goals have been basically achieved.The paper summarizes the entire group work process and reflects on the problems and shortcomings in the intervention process of group work,as well as the use of social work methods to improve the quality of elderly care services.The innovation of this article lies in the use of interactive mode to carry out group activities,which has certain theoretical and practical significance.The group work under interactive mode helps newly moved elderly people gradually establish a new environment and rebuild their interpersonal network.However,there are individual differences in the research subjects,which cannot represent the overall state of all elderly people and may not be entirely applicable to group social work methods.Therefore,in terms of representativeness,this study still has certain limitations.
