Resource Links:The Path Analysis Of Social Work Intervention In Urban Poor People

Under the background of the national targeted poverty alleviation strategy,the field of social assistance has also seen new development in cities.The traditional way of relief has been unable to meet the living needs of the poor people,and new challenges have arisen to solve the problems of the urban poor people.Social work can provide professional services such as social integration,ability improvement and psychological counseling for urban poor people,which plays an important role in solving the problems of urban poor people.Therefore,this paper takes the community assistance consultant project of Y Street in Shanghai as an example to explore the ways of social work’s involvement in the resource link of urban poor people,and further enrich the local practice of social work’s service to urban poor people.In this paper,under the guidance of social support theory,the qualitative method is used to analyze the urban poor people’s resource link pathway,so as to construct the analysis framework of the resource link pathway.First of all,the article gives an overview of the community assistance consultant project.Secondly,the resource link process is divided into four parts:resource demand analysis,resource raising,resource docking and resource maintenance.In the aspect of demand analysis,social work assessed the needs of the urban poor and found that the urban poor mainly have tangible instrumental support and intangible expressive support provided by the society,the government,the community and the family,and then analyzed the problem of their lack of resources.In terms of resource raising,social workers classify and identify existing resources and explore the process of resource raising to help social workers raise more resources.In terms of resource docking,it mainly includes the difficulties found in the process of connection and how social workers respond to the difficulties.It is concluded that the process of resource docking is mainly the matching of resource supply and demand,the delivery of resources and the verification of resource effectiveness.In terms of resource maintenance,through the analysis of the difficulties encountered in the maintenance process and the corresponding solutions,it is found that the main ways of resource maintenance are formal contract signing and informal contract oral agreement to ensure the sustainable development of resources.Social workers use their own abilities to mobilize,coordinate and deploy the whole process of resource linking,and find resource linking itself as a way of social work,which lays the foundation for their deep participation in professional practice.On the basis of the previous analysis,in order to improve and standardize the way of resource link,the paper puts forward the following four suggestions:first,establish a government-led social support network;Second,create a favorable resource linking environment to further improve the professionalism of social work services;Third,establish a multi-party linkage trust mechanism;Fourthly,we should attach importance to the development of local resources and promote the diversification and sustainable development of resources.
