| The transition from one stage of education to another means a change in the environment in which students live, and it also marks a change in their social role. From high school to university is the process of changing the role of students from the highest stage of basic education to the higher education stage. In the process of changing this role, students face multiple and complex challenges such as cognitive, behavioral and psychological, which are crucial to their ability to adapt to university study and life, and to their academic success and personal comprehensive ability. However, the traditional relatively closed education model limits the continuity of talent training and the coherence of education to a certain extent, resulting in students facing many adaptation problems when changing roles. Therefore, talent training should concentrate on the continuity of people’s physical and mental development, promote the effective connection between university and middle school education, and promote the systematic development of education and the continuous growth of people through the construction of integrated talent training. The problems encountered by students in preparation and adaptation are a longterm concern of pedagogy and are a part of China’s education system that cannot be ignored.According to the theory of lifelong education, the education of large, middle and small schools should be connected with each other,so as to meet the needs of everyone for continuous learning and lifelong learning.According to social role theory, the role transition problem of college freshmen during this stage of the transition from high school to college is caused by insufficient preparation for education and insufficient adaptation to education. Therefore, based on the talent training, this study selects the connection of university and high school education as the background, and analyzes the reason why college freshmen have problem on the role transmation from the perspectives of role preparation and role adaptation. The results show that there are the following conflicts in the process of role adaptation of college freshmen:insufficient realistic cognition and good expectations coexist,test-taking education traces and independent learning requirements coexist, inherent living habits and new living environments coexist, and dependence psychology and independent consciousness coexist. From the role preparation stage of high school,it is found that the training received by new students in high school is mainly for exams, and their learning lacks autonomy. In terms of life, freshmen lack the cultivation of independence in high school, rely on others to take care of them in life, and are restrained and timid in real social situations. In terms of ideology, the ideological and political education of new students at the high school level is mainly based on theoretical indoctrination, and has limited practical effects on behavior and practice. On the psychological side, freshmen in high school do not anticipate the stress they will face at the college level and are likely to have a large psychological gap later. From the poor role transformation stage of universities,it is found that there are of adaptation education problems at the university stage such as single form, insufficient support, and short duration. In terms of learning, the requirements for students to study independently are high, but the guidance is not enough. In terms of life,it is hoped that freshmen will quickly adapt to independent living and living, while ignoring the social needs and growth expectations of freshmen. In terms of ideology, the education is still based on theory and lacks the support of social practice. In terms of psychology, there is a lack of professional and effective psychological counseling for new students. Therefore, this research aims to deeply analyze the source of the role transformation of college freshmen by understanding the thoughts, behaviors and psychological habits of high school students,as well as their expectations and understanding of universities, and explore the mechanism and mode of high school preparation for university preparation and university adaptation to welcome new students,so as to realize the coordinated development of higher education and basic education talent training. |
