| The connection between children and children is a hot issue in basic education.Whether children adapt to school smoothly is not only related to the development of children’s cognitive ability,but also related to the healthy growth of children.This study conducted a questionnaire survey among 507 freshmen in Yili,Xinjiang,and interviewed 38 first-grade teachers,11 kindergarten teachers and 9 parents of first-grade freshmen.The findings are as follows:(1)In general,the freshmen in the first grade of primary schools in Yili region of Xinjiang have a good adaptation level to school entry,which is in the upper middle level.From the perspective of various dimensions,the physical and mental adaptation dimension and the development level of active exercise of first-grade students in Yili area of Xinjiang need to be further improved;In the dimension of life adaptation,the development of love for labor needs to be improved;In the dimension of social adaptation,the cultivation of moral character needs to be improved.More attention should be paid to the cultivation of learning habits in the dimension of learning adaptation.(2)The gender difference of children has a significant impact on the social adjustment of freshmen.The adjustment level of boys is higher than that of girls.Whether the child is the only child or not has a significant impact on physical and mental adaptation and social adaptation,and who children live with has a significant impact on the four dimensions of physical and mental adaptation,life adaptation,social adaptation and learning adaptation of freshmen.The education level of the main dependents has a significant influence on the physical and mental adaptation,life adaptation and social adaptation of freshmen.Family economic situation has a significant impact on freshmen’s physical and mental adaptation,life adaptation,and social adaptation.(3)Poor performance in compliance with rules in social adaptation,poor learning habits in learning adaptation,poor sense of labor in life adaptation,and insufficient physical and mental adaptation.Secondly,according to the research results,we continue to explore the situation of school adaptation and school adaptation education implementation in the first grade of primary schools in Yili region of Xinjiang,and conclude that the only child needs to pay more attention to school adaptation due to weak social communication ability.Family structure is the key factor to improve the level of school adaptability.The differences in parenting concepts of different cultural levels lead to the differences in school adaptation,and children from poor families need more care and help in school adaptation.Finally,it puts forward four aspects that need to pay attention to children’s school adaptation to help children grow up healthily.Focus on school entry to accommodate disadvantaged children and escort children to school;Strengthen classified guidance,and provide relevant suggestions and strategies for different families to adapt to school entry.To a certain extent,this study will enrich the research on preschool connection and school adaptation,and provide useful reference for parents,preschool and primary school educators in Yili,Xinjiang to carry out preschool connection and school adaptation education. |
