Under the background of the new curriculum reform,front-line researchers have been exploring the teaching methods of high school biology classrooms. Therefore, the most urgent task is to explore new teaching methods. The game teaching method fully implements the teaching concept of "emphasizing students’ subjectivity and stimulating students’ initiative",and it is suitable to promote its advantages and eliminate its disadvantages.By reviewing the theoretical basis of game teaching method, using the questionnaires method to clarify the current situation of high school biology teaching and its problems, and analyzing its results, this paper aims to carry out the research of game teaching method based on facts. The author has designed games such as "Script Kill","Monopoly" and "Brainstorm" based on modern popular games and the characteristics of biology subjects. In order to make these games more intuitive and operable, the author presents relevant cases to explain and give corresponding teaching suggestions, and applies these games in the high school biology classroom for practical research. The results show that: 1.Most teachers and students are more supportive of the application of game teaching, and most teachers maintain a positive attitude toward the game teaching method in relation to teaching effectiveness;2.The type of games proposed by the author can be effectively integrated with daily teaching and learning, which significantly improves students’ academic performance;3.In the process of teaching practice, students are more cooperative and significantly increase their interest in learning. In view of this, this study lays the foundation for the widespread application of the game teaching method in high school biology classrooms.
