The educational goals required by the future economy and labor(development)have shifted from content research to high-level ability training.It means that teaching needs to focus on cultivating the skills that contemporary students need in the future.The most important of these skills is the students’scientific thinking ability.The general high school physics curriculum standard(2017 edition 2020 revision)puts forward the concept of core literacy,in which scientific thinking is the basis of scientific inquiry and the basic condition of physical concept and scientific attitude and responsibility.Studies have shown that there are still some phenomena in the classroom.Some students ’ scientific thinking ability has not been effectively cultivated,and their ability to complete learning tasks independently is weak,which requires teachers ’ guidance and inspiration.In view of this kind of phenomenon,the problem chain teaching mentioned in this study is one of the methods selected by teachers.How to grasp the main content of a class to design the core problem chain and the corresponding sub-problem chain,and create a teaching framework is necessary for cultivating students ’ scientific thinking ability such as model construction,scientific reasoning,scientific argumentation and questioning innovation.On the basis of consulting a large number of literatures,the research background,purpose and significance,research status at home and abroad as well as research contents and methods are introduced,the related concepts such as scientific thinking and problem chain are defined,and the theoretical basis of recent development zone theory and constructivism learning theory are discussed.Secondly,this study investigates the cultivation of scientific thinking ability and the current situation of classroom questioning of some students in practice schools through questionnaires and interviews.Based on the results,it puts forward the teaching design basis of problem chain and the cultivation strategy of scientific thinking ability,that is,from the four elements of scientific thinking(model construction,scientific reasoning,scientific argumentation and questioning innovation)to cultivate students ’ scientific thinking consciousness and ability.The two sections of " Ohm ’s Law of Closed Circuit " and " Force of Motion Charge in Magnetic Field " in high school physics of People ’s Education Press were selected for case design and practical teaching,and then the students ’ scientific thinking ability was tested and evaluated and the results were analyzed.Finally,the summary,and prospects are shown,and put forward the shortcomings of the research process.
