An important measure to deepen the reform of basic education curriculum is to focus on cultivating students' core qualities.Fermi problem has gradually attracted the attention of teachers and researchers in high school physics teaching because of its own interest and unique solution thinking.It has become an important research topic to collect and develop high quality resources of Fermi problems and to strengthen Fermi problems for teaching design and research.On the basis of reading relevant literature at home and abroad and absorbing relevant research results,this paper firstly summarizes the characteristics of Fermi problem and its unique value in implementing the core quality of physics discipline in teaching.Second,the application of Fermi problem in the overall design of high school physics teaching principles are discussed,respectively,the principle of combining scientific and interesting,the principle of combining openness and exploration,the principle of combining pertinence and coherence,the principle of combining theory and life;Thirdly,on the basis of collecting and sorting out the existing Fermi problems in the literature,the database of Fermi problems is established,and the content selection is discussed according to the chapter arrangement of the new edition of the high school physics textbook of PEP.Fourthly,the paths are discussed,such as introducing Fermi problem in high school physics classroom teaching,introducing Fermi problem in high school physics teaching evaluation,introducing Fermi problem in community activities,and introducing Fermi problem in competition training.Fifthly,according to theoretical exploration and design discussion,and based on my own practice,the practical cases of applying Fermi problem to high school physics teaching are given from three aspects of concept class,law class and exercise class,and the corresponding teaching strategies are summarized.
