| In the 1990s,Snyder and his colleagues proposed the trait theory of hope,which gained attention in the fields of psychology and psychiatry.In the past ten years,research on the trait of hope has been carried out at home and abroad.A number of studies have shown that there is a significant correlation between the trait of hope and students’ learning,emotions,and adaptability.The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of junior high school students’ level of hope trait on test anxiety.On the basis of studying the theory of hope trait,the author takes 411 students in 12 classes of grade one and grade two in a middle school in Beijing as the object of study,using the middle school students hope trait scale and the Sarason Test Anxiety Scale,this study conducted the following research:1.This paper measures the students’ level of hope and test anxiety,and studies their differences in demographic variables and the causes of the differences.2.To explore the influence of hope trait on test anxiety of junior high school students and the reasons.3.The project of hope-trait group counseling for middle school students was formulated,and the experimental method was used to intervene the level of hope-trait of middle school students.Four.After the intervention,the level of Students’ Hope and test anxiety were measured again,and the data were collected to analyze the effect of the intervention.This study draws the following conclusions:1.Students’ hope trait level reaches above the medium level,but the development of path thinking and dynamic thinking is unbalanced.2.The test anxiety level of junior high school students is at the medium level,but nearly one-third of students reach the severe level of test anxiety.3.There is a significant gender difference in the hope trait level of junior middle school students,which is correlated with their parents’education level,but the grade difference is not significant.4.There are significant gender and grade differences in junior middle school students’ test anxiety,and the correlation with parents’ education level is not significant 5.The test anxiety of junior high school students decreased with the increase of hope trait level.6.It is hoped that trait group psychological counseling has a positive effect on relieving middle school students’ test anxiety. |
