| Education is the foundation of a century long plan;The education plan is teacher oriented.The rise and fall of national prosperity depend on education,and education is the fundamental project for the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation,which must be placed in a strategic position of priority development.The report of the 20 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China clearly states: "To achieve education that satisfies the people,it is necessary to strengthen the construction of professional ethics and conduct,cultivate a high-quality teaching team,and promote the social trend of respecting teachers and valuing education." Teacher’s overall plan is based on professional ethics,and teachers’ work is to shape the soul,life,and people.Teachers’ words and actions have strong guidance and demonstration for students,and the construction of professional ethics and conduct directly affects the development of students’ moral qualities,Teachers should always stand up and teach with virtue.The level of professional ethics and quality of the teaching team determines whether primary school teachers can provide children with the first button in life and lay a solid foundation for their moral character.Therefore,it is necessary to improve the level of teacher ethics and improve the quality of primary school education.Based on this,the author conducted a survey and research on the professional ethics of primary school teachers.This study mainly conducted a questionnaire survey and interview survey,with students and some teachers in grades 3-5 of four primary schools in S County as the survey subjects.The selfcompiled "Questionnaire on the Professional Ethics Status of Primary School Teachers" and "Outline of the Interview on the Professional Ethics Status of Primary School Teachers" surveyed students and teachers from eight dimensions: teaching and education,benevolence,safety prevention,fairness and integrity,integrity and self-discipline,standardized teaching,elegant words and deeds,and ideal beliefs,Through investigation,we have gained an understanding of the current status of professional ethics among primary school teachers in S County.The survey results show that the overall quality and moral standards of primary school teachers in S County are relatively good,mainly manifested in the emphasis on student safety and high safety awareness;Strictly discipline oneself and be honest in teaching;Diligent,dedicated,and dedicated to their duties.Through investigation,it was also found that in the current education situation,there are still some areas that need to be improved and strengthened in the teaching team,such as: imbalanced teaching and education,weak awareness of education;The ideal of teaching profession is weak and the sense of identity is not strong;There are biases and obstacles in home school communication;The evaluation of school teacher ethics is not scientific,and the mechanism for teacher ethics construction is not perfect.The reason for the above problems in the current situation and construction of primary school teachers’ professional ethics comes from various factors such as society,schools,teachers themselves,and parents.Through analyzing the problems in the status of professional ethics,the following countermeasures are proposed: firstly,society and the government provide support for teachers’ professional ethics;Secondly,schools should change the traditional evaluation of teacher ethics and improve the mechanism for cultivating teacher ethics;Thirdly,teachers should constantly learn and improve their professional ethics and literacy;Fourthly,parents should enhance their cognition and maintain rational communication. |
