As one of the inheritance carriers of excellent Chinese traditional culture,literary texts carry the thoughts and wisdom of Chinese people.Reading excellent literary texts helps students feel the charm of traditional Chinese culture,cultivate their thoughts and sentiments,and enhance their cultural confidence.However,due to the language barrier in reading literary texts,the disconnection between students and the context created by literary texts,and the traditional middle school teaching of literary texts,which emphasizes students’ memorization of literary words and phrases,students are generally afraid of learning and averse to learning literary texts.This paper introduces the constructivist cognitive schema theory and explores effective strategies for teaching junior high school literary texts at two levels: the content and method of constructing literary schemas,in order to provide useful reference for improving the effectiveness of literary teaching.This paper can be roughly divided into six parts.The first part is the introduction,including the origin of the study,the current situation of the study,the value of the study,and the research method.The second part is an overview of schema theory,mainly from the connotation,characteristics and functions of schema theory as well as the content and process of schema construction.The third part explores the basis of the application of schema theory to junior high school literary teaching from three perspectives: the new curriculum,junior high school language teaching materials,and the learning situation of compulsory education.The fourth part clarifies the content of the schema to be constructed in the construction of literary schemas for junior high school students.The fifth part explores the strategies for constructing the literary schemas of junior high school students on the basis of the contents of the literary schemas of junior high school students.In the sixth part,the design of teaching middle school literary texts under the schema theory is illustrated and reflected on in the light of the schema theory. |
