As an important "cornerstone" of the building of mathematical knowledge structure,the concept of high school mathematics is the core content of mathematical theory.Mathematics Curriculum Standards for Senior High Schools(2017 Edition,2020 revision)require appropriate teaching models to guide students through the process of mathematical concept construction.5E-STEM teaching model is a 5E inquiry teaching model based on STEM education concepts.Through five teaching links,students are deeply involved in the process of exploring the generation of new concepts,and students’ understanding of the nature of subject concepts is improved and optimized.The Outline of National InnovationDriven Development Strategy proposes that talent training mode should be reformed to promote national development.The interdisciplinary integration concept emphasized by 5ESTEM teaching mode coincides with the new curriculum standard concept,which meets the requirements of innovative comprehensive talent training in the new era.Therefore,it is of certain innovation and research significance to carry out high school mathematics concept teaching research based on 5E-STEM teaching model.The main research contents include: Firstly,literature analysis is used to review the relevant researches on mathematics concept teaching and STEM education,and at the same time,the development origin and process design of 5E teaching model are outlined.Secondly,with the support of experiential learning theory,concept transformation theory and cognitive load theory,Citespace software and classroom observation method are used to make theoretical and practical analysis of the current situation of mathematics concept teaching in high school.Through four aspects,concept introduction,concept induction,concept application and concept depth,To observe the concept teaching of any two mathematics teachers in Grade one.Finally,this study constructs a high school conceptual mathematics model based on 5E-STEM,and takes "The Concept of Trigonometric Functions" as an example for case design,and then uses controlled experiment method and student interview method to test the teaching effect of this model.It is found that many practical and targeted high school mathematics concept teaching models have been put forward at present.Among them,a few scholars used the 5E teaching model to carry out concept teaching,but few research into the integration of STEM education concepts in the classroom guiding teaching.The current situation of mathematics concept classroom in high school is inadequate.The actual classroom teaching is mainly taught by teachers,and students are not given enough time for independent exploration and induction,resulting in students’ innovative thinking and exploration ability is not trained.Through practical research,it is concluded that 5E-STEM teaching model has an obvious promoting effect on improving students’ acquisition of concepts,and has an obvious effect on improving students’ ability to maintain concepts.Under the teaching of 5E-STEM model,students’ interest and enthusiasm in learning mathematics are improved.The effective application of this model requires teachers to have a high level of professional ability and comprehensive literacy.Students have certain knowledge reserve and development potential.Finally,after reflecting on the lack of research,the author puts forward the prospect of the follow-up research.
