STEM education,as a hot topic of global concern,emphasizes interdisciplinary integration,with the fundamental purpose of cultivating students' innovative consciousness and practical ability.Its educational concept is consistent with the basic concept of compulsory education mathematics curriculum standard(2011 Edition).In order to improve students' comprehensive quality and promote their ability development,STEM education concept is introduced into primary school mathematics curriculum teaching in the compulsory education stage to cultivate their thinking and innovation ability.In this paper,the primary school mathematics teaching strategy based on STEM education concept is applied to the actual teaching activities,which provides a reference perspective for integrating STEM education concept into the teaching design of the course.Based on the research status of STEM education and mathematics teaching strategy at home and abroad,this paper discusses and studies the STEM education concept,STEM theoretical basis and core concepts of teaching strategy,and defines the related concepts of the research content.From the four aspects of social environment,teachers,students and the implementation of teaching process,this paper analyzes the main factors that affect the primary school mathematics teaching strategy,and constructs the primary school mathematics teaching strategy system based on the STEM education concept,including three strategies of teaching preparation,teaching implementation and teaching evaluation.According to the constructed teaching strategy system,three practical teaching cases of primary school mathematics teaching strategy research based on STEM education concept are designed and implemented.Combined with the interviews between teachers and students,the research and analysis of practical teaching found that students have a strong interest in learning,and their learning thinking and innovation awareness have been improved to varying degrees.At the same time,suggestions are put forward from the three aspects of teacher training,teaching process implementation and incentive evaluation mechanism.
